Kill Switch update: The issue affecting Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater has been fixed and the cosmetic has been reenabled in all queues with this update.

Meta Healing Build

With the new update and the nerf to self-healing and self-healing speeds, healing your teammates has become more important than ever. However a lot of people probably don't want to have to spend 12-16 seconds every time a teammate is injured to heal them.

However to those interested in trying it, I can provide a build that will allow you to heal your teammates in under 5 seconds consistently.

If you use the following perks, you can proc a 5 second heal off hook even against sloppy butcher or an 8 second heal normally.

The build is: We'll Make It, Desperate Measures, Botany Knowledge, and Resilience.

You can even speed it up even more by using a med-kit since med-kit speeds are even faster now when used on others. Another thing you gain from this is faster interactions from Resilience for staying injured. As well, if you add charges to your med-kit you can give yourself 1 heal which if sloppy isn't in play you can 99% your heal and if the killer comes to you, tap the med-kit, or have an ally 99% you so you have a bunch of med-kit taps allowing you to use Resilience to do gens faster and heals faster.

Just to show you how powerful this type of build can be and why it is probably a great build for at least one teammate to run going forward, here is a clip of a test where two players ran the build with the one being healed running COH, using Green med-kit resulting in a 2 second heal.

Healing speed should be capped at 100% but BHVR never touched stacking healing speed ever.

Why run any of this though? Just run 1 CoH for the entire team and run all the same perks as before.

    It's too situational.

We'll Make It or CoH are good enough on their own. Often times with WMI the 90 seconds is enough time to get a second heal in. Take one of these and you can have a much more well-rounded build to help you in chases and on gens.

Now, I am a Desperate+Leader enjoyer (mostly for late game unhooking situations tho) and I think both Botany and We'll Make It are very nice perks. - But no need to stack all of them.

If anything, now that people won't bring a medkit quite as often, Botany is a nice go to.

You would see this in a real game when pigs fly.

But best I can do is +4% extra crouch speed. At least until she gets the nerf bat again.

You know, the people of the DBD community, like to talk a lot of crap, without every trying anything.

This is the build I literally run, before the update even, not only, do I not get "tunneled out every game" but I always make it to Irri 1, and most games assist my team into winning since I can prevent OTHERS from getting "tunneled out" by healing them faster than the killer can even get back to the hook.

The people who think you need an exhaustion perk in order to not die, are those who either have no confidence in their ability to loop a killer, or TOO much confidence in their ability to loop a killer. Since part of the game is Stealth as much as it is looping.

But you're right, ######### on this build, don't ever use it, and just rely on your precious Dead Hard... oh wait... 😄 that's right, Dead Hard is useless now, rely on sprint burst than... 😄 oh wait, but Fearmonger is a thing isn't it... Well better put Lithe on than huh???

Don't talk to me about what is or isn't meta in this game, when the entire DBD community shat on the Knight without learning a thing about him calling him a d tier killer, when the entire community can't seem to accept that whether they LIKE the skull merchant or not, they have the highest win and highest kill rate in the GAME, making them ipso facto the strongest killer in the game right now.

I seem to see what the community can't so I also kind of knew posting this would result in only dismissal, which doesn't bother me at all, I was only attempting to be helpful with what I feel are going to be some of the new Meta's.

You'll just see for yourself how this update will change the game.

Here's a clue: Sloppy Butcher = Meta, Fearmonger = Meta, STBFL = Meta, Shattered Hope = Meta

Exhaustion perks? Sprint Burst, Lithe, Balance Landing, Overcome, all of these are useful, but hardly comparable to having at least 1 person as a dedicated healer, clearly no one here understands the value of healing your teammates in 5-8 seconds so I'll use dbd speak than.

All the time you will be spending setting COH and running to it WITH a teammate to go do a heal which will still take 8-12 seconds, whereas alternatively you unhook someone, heal them, 5 seconds, run, both are back on gens, or you're doing a gen, survivor comes to you, you heal them, 8 seconds, both go on gen together, if you hold on to resilience, you also increase your gen repair.

I have hundreds of games of evidence using this build to literally save teammates from being killed and winning games through it, I'm talking like preventing a 4k through slugging kind of stuff. You mean to tell me having a guy who can speed heal under this new healing meta is stupid???

I wish everyone the best of luck this period with their games, cause I really feel like a lot of people don't understand the kind of ######### killers are going to be doing going forward.

If you all say so, do what works for you I guess.
