Dead Hard Nerf
Well, it's settled. Since Dead Hard got nerfed, my games are way easier
Maybe too much, I'm used to pay without gen slowdown, I don't feel limited by the nerf of those perks
Beside, I didn't even try nurse again. This is a buff for her

It’s good that DH got nerfed and it’ll be interesting to see how the game plays without it
People haven’t caught on to sprint burst yet. I’ve been using it to great success

As a killer I'm so happy to see people run Lithe and Sprint Burst.
At least when survivors use these perks I'm annoyed, but at least I feel I got outplayed. You feel as if these perks have counters, unlike DH which is a fricking slot machine.

What are you talking about?
You go near them, they sprint away. How do you counter that?
AMAZING PLAYSSS!!!

Immediately drop chase and then come back 10 seconds later when they're back on the same gen? Works for me

Give it a bit longer. 6.1.0 had a similar effect where people dropped dead hard and had to adjust to not using dead hard. Though eventually people realized that an on-demand 3rd health state is still pretty good which caused it to get nerfed again.

I'm starting to understand why survivors do gens quickly with you as a killer. You should maybe try committing to chases you know you will win instead of chasing whoever. If you initiate the chase while the survivor is far away, moving at 150% speed, of course you will not catch them.
Good killers know when to chase and when to not do it.

Yeah I called that a buff not a nerf tbh

I mean for me as a blight main, nothing has changed since before 6.1.0. People always spout this "dh holds high tier killers in check" nonsense, but out of spirit, blight and nurse, only nurse is affected heavily by it. Spirits counter play to dh is literally just normal m1 killer gameplay but she catches up to you nearly 2x faster, while blight can brush past you in rush and unless you are a 1 in 10k survivor(being generous) you will hit e. You quite literally have to be really unlucky or be on an unbalanced map to get hit by dh as blight, 99 SP is way better because it's nearly impossible to line up a shoulder flick when a survivor is moving at that speed and the survivor can easily dodge a flick at that speed while breaking LoS frequently if allowed.
M1 killers can counter dh easily for the most part, so can high tier killer except for Nurse and if you count wesker. What's left to defend the existent of this beyond boring perk? It gives a little bit more skill on survivor side I guess? But most of the time you down someone faster because they are trying so hard to get their dh off or can't handle not pressing the button. Looping well has way more skill than the tiny mind game of dh easily. Unless any of you have plutoed a blight 1-2 times with immense confidence followed by a dh, I won't be impressed in anyway, because the receiving killer probably had infinite chances to counter dh or had 0(low tier killer in a nutshell).
DH has simply gone from 3 to 2 uses a game, if you dropped chase after a dh you were likely trolling yourself pre patch and even now. The power level hasn't changed.
It's just people don't realize how awful game design and boring this perk is. Any defense of this perk besides "it's fun" is null and void. It's mid tier skill in a relatively low tier skill game from my PoV. The devs allowed you to continue to use the perk viably, it's not dead. CoB and Overcharge are dead and don't get me wrong I hate all 3 of these perks.
TLDR; the games should feel better to play in a month or so, unless dh inevitably has it's resurgence because it's death was greatly overexaggerated.

As other said, its not about countering SB and DH in chase, its how and when they're being used.
SB can run away to a title when doing Gen in dead zone, come back half a minute later, done.
They may work on Gen with another teammate who doesnt have SB, you can go for them instead.
SB creates distance at the beginning of a chase, you have 2 choice: chasing them and there is no Exhaustion between you; or leave a chase before it begins, you waste no time.
For DH you success hitting them twice after 2min, and they DH away, you have 2 choices: have to commit the chases to its endl; or leave the chase when you're already wasted 2min

This can work unless you fight multiple SB’s and realise you’ve wasted about 60 seconds baiting chases for no actual gain and the first survivor has their SB back

Difference is though is it can only be used twice. 8 times with all 4 people. Your never going to see it in your first chase.
