Mid-chapter patch was great, why are so many people upset?
So many negative comments and reviews on the game. Why? Because your favorite meta perk was nerfed? Because med-kits were nerfed (but they are still good and they were overperforming imo)? I don't get it. It's great patch.

it had heavy nerfs to a lot of Survivor's mecanics so the Survivor playerbase are expected to be unhappy.
it'll take some time for people to adapt hopefully the anniversary chapter brings back life to this game and people are happy again.

Yea, I think people will get used to it like they always did with big patches before.

Because it's a pretty heavy knock to Solos. That's really my own major issue with it, so far.
There's also quite a few people upset that their favorite toys got nerfed.

I never used any of the meta perks and I find this update to be far worse mostly because of players abusing certain playstyles every single match over and over. Face camping, 4K slugging, ect. The game isn't in a great state especially for solo q.

It's never been good for SoloQ and it will probably never be. Abusing playstyles? It's not abuse, first of all, and second, this is normal for this game since day 1. Again, nothing new. Same things as they always were.
