Genuine Q: Unbreakable

As a killer, is there some sort of way to tell if a survivor has it?

I played a 5hr stint last night, and I noticed something. And either I'm the UNLUCKIEST person on EARTH, or Killers literally have a way of seeing when a survivor is carrying unbreakable.

Every time I carry unbreakable, I am NEVER left slugged. Even in games where ALL of my teammates are slugged, I will ALWAYS be the one that gets picked up and hooked. I started to bring it BECAUSE all of my friends and I would get slugged, but EVERY. SINGLE. TIME there's a slugfest--I am IMMEDAIATELY picked up, I'm never left slugged. Out of the 5hrs of footage, there were 3 instances of team slug or 2man slug--each time, I was picked up first.

Tonight we had 2 more instances of slugging, and I was yet again the ONLY ONE picked up whilst my teammates would be left prone at 99%, unable to get up themselves.

IS there a way for killers to physically see this perk or am I just ungodly, insanely, inconceivably, UN-FREAKING-LUCKY.

Most killers don't slug so that's probably why you keep getting picked up right away

The only way to tell if a survivor has Unbreakable is if they get up from being downed at some point. There's no way to tell in advance that they have it equipped

FR tho T_T. like i always run deliverance, i could literally be in the farthest corner, no scratch marks, WITH DISTORTION and the killer just pops out of the trees and finds me, and i get first hook. like.... y tho.

I totally understand, its' the same with other perks. Running Distortion? Never procs because killer has no aura perks. Not running Distortion? KIller has Lethal Pursuer, BBQ, etc.

As most people have said, no, there's no direct way to tell from the killer's perspective.

However, if the killer notices that you either: A) get picked up from the dying state somewhere between ~24 to <32 seconds and they know nobody was around to heal you on the ground until around when you got picked up; or B) get picked up from the dying state by another survivor practically immediately (as opposed to the 0.8s it normally takes), then the killer can use this info, i.e. that you have some kind of increased recovery speed modifier and/or a way to recover past the 95% threshold, a along with process of elimination, to strongly suspect that you more than likely may have Unbreakable.

Unless the killer is hacking, no. As a killer, I'm usually basing the assumption off of how aggressive the survivor is playing. The only way it makes sense for players to go for some plays is if they have certain perks. If someone makes a weirdly aggressive save, you assume some combination of BT/Deliverance/Unbreakable. This also goes for survivors who are mysteriously left slugged under pallets. It's fairly common for SWF to do that, so I hedge my bet and tap M1 as I approach the slug in case they're going for a cheeky Unbreakable>pallet stun.

On the survivor end, it's just kind of how it goes a lot of the time. If you have Deliverance, you get found first. If you have Unbreakable, you're immediately picked up even when it makes zero sense to do it. I usually find it sus when it's a really stupid pick up and the only way it would make sense is if they knew I had Unbreakable, but it's impossible to prove and the average killer decision making is usually on par with average survivor decision making.

A Doctor had first chase with Feng, Feng passed by my Gen, we both ran away, then Feng went right and I went left. Doctor decided to chase me after that. I had Deli.

Oh god this kills my soul. I feel that pain. Ill be minding my own business 80% on a gen, super happy to have done my part on the team--Meg fast vaults a window, looks at me, runs off without helping to finish the gen and then 5s later the killer is here, and stops me as the gen is 99d and im unable to finish, and now in chase and prob going down. T_T.
