BHVR keeps removing fun(rant)
I'm a console huntress main and every update they seem to just make it hard and hard to to have fun. Normally when I play her I throw on a bunch of aura perks and just run around going for shots don't care if I win or lose as long as I get some nice shots it was a good match. But the last 2 map rework and last few maps are absolutely atrocious for huntress. There's so much bs spread throughout the maps at chest level that 90% I'm a 110 m1 killer because I can't throw a hatchet because there's something there everytime. If it's not that then the hitboxes extend way over the actual object. So they seem to be pushing for only been able to hit survivors in animation locks because that's not fun.

Look on the bright side, the Dead Hard nerf is a huge boost to us console Huntress players. Also, I don't entirely agree with you. I actually think Shattered Safe Pallet is a good snipe map for Huntress

? Their point is valid, they are just flooding every map with random garbage for no real reason. Red forest is laughable.

The fact they added so many trees makes me think they did it because of Nurse/Blight

... meanwhile pc player exchange their vision with filters and snipe you across the whole red forest.

I hate shattered hits hitboxes are so weird that even when you think you have a shot it explode 3 inches above the object. There are spots you can use hatches but so much of the rest of the map you can't.

There's a log about angel high and it's hitbox extends to about the survivors head. I spent a good amount of time trying to hit a survivor while they just stood there

Would you rather every huntress just wait tell your in animation lock for 100% hits or get chances to dodge hatches?

not only huntress. also hillbilly. but well they have to give GF something to work with a killer nobody plays
since GF got released the amount of trees and objects got increased.
thats why i miss the old dbd so much. nowadays maps are full with unnecessary objects

I mean any map LoS/collision wise that is bad for blight is even worse for 10 other killers(except pale rose). I would love to believe your theory but mine is that they hired a single person to just fill up the map to make it look more finished.

Yeah I'm with you 100%. I'm not even console and I literally just throw or a perks on and you go for a hatchets. And pain res if I'm feeling spiffy. The new map reworks are atrocious, and the other day when I played I had indoor maps three times in a row then the new reworked maps with the stupid new bloxkers four times in a row, was absolutely painful.
So the hit boxes are a result of both how survivor hitboxes are shaped, butbmainly latency. As a huntress mean even I think that the hit boxes are BS sometimes and sometimes I think myself wow that really shouldn't have hit. But that being said she is THE balanced killer of the game. Her kit, her add-onsz her counterplay - everything. She has a decent floor ceiling and skill floor, and has well defined counterplay.
But these blockers were completely unnecessary and really didn't help anything other than preventing trick shots that take away from her kit and skill ceiling. If you're a looping around a bush on red forest for instance, she was almost never going to aim her hatchet at you, because those weren't tiles she can throw over, she was just going m1 you anyways. This new tiles didn't change that, looping at close range, it essentially is just nerfing SOME long range hatchets which are HARD and completely skillful to pull off in the first place, which I don't even remember anyone ever even complaining about (this is DBD so I'm sure there are).

Maybe try to zone them out and not just go for snipes.
A lot of the maps are horrible for several killers though, Billy comes to mind, but the same also goes for survivors. Some of the "loops" on Borgo are atrocious, and don't get me started on the killer shack in garden of pain. I don't really understand the devs' need to add clutter on every part of the ground on most maps, with the only exclusion being Shelter Woods.

The whole point is to go for snipes if I was playing to win I would throw on a sweater build and her wind up add on and go for easy shots bit thats not the point I put on a build to go for snipes and fun shots. The point isn't to win but have a fun match were I got some good shots. Add in the extra bs and terrible hitboxes just hurt a fun playstyle while making it so you can only hit guaranteed hits and those aren't fun really.

Why was skybilly killed? It was funny and took some skill. I don't think I've ever seen someone complain about it if anything I've only heard good think said about it.

I do belive she's the best balanced killer in the game. I don't think alot of people don't realize how bad it feels to loop normally as a 110 killer. Those bushes even without a pallet can take her ages just to get the m1 and there's nothing else to do other then just drop chase.
I don't even care if they 4 man as long as I got some good shots but when 90% of the match I'm playing m1 huntress because I cant hit over anything or there's so much bs on the map I can't throw a hatchet more then 5ft it hurts my soul.
