Being disconnected from host server

Hi all,

I've been disconnected from the host server 6 times in the last 24 hours. It always happens in the middle of a match. My internet is working fine. I've gone through recommended troubleshooting steps that I could find (which I'll c&p below) as well as unplugged my router for a bit, restarted my computer, and run updates. I've been playing dbd for about 3 weeks and this hasn't happened to me until yesterday afternoon. I'm obviously very frustrated by the dc penalties (and the loss of bloodpoints in matches I thought were going well for me!!!). I also don't want to be That Person and wouldn't dc voluntarily. What is up with this??? Is anyone else having the same problem? Does anyone else have a solution? I'm new to this game & having a great time, except it's been totally unplayable since yesterday.

Restart your computer Also, please do the following on Steam to confirm that your game files are not corrupted: 1.) Go to your Steam Library 2.) Right-click on Dead by Daylight 3.) Click 'Properties' 4.) Click on the tab 'Local Files' 5.) Click 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache'
