Does anonymous mode do this
Okay so I have it set so my username is hidden thing is people who play on the same console as me can still see my account aka they can click on me in the endgame and message me now does anonymous prevent that basically make it seem like I'm on a different platform?

Are you on Xbox?
If so, Anonymous Mode doesn't work there.

Nope playstation so guess it work either which begs the question if it doesn't work on console what's the point shouldn't it work on all platforms.

That's a console problem. If they're on the same plattform, they'll still see your name.
I'm on XSX and stopped using anon mode for that reason. Also i don't want to get dogded a lot as they might think i'm a microsoft store cheater.

Anonymous mode isn't available on Xbox. What Xbox has is the ability to hide the names on your screen only so if you stream your viewers won't see the other players names. The patch notes said "consoles" but apparently was only supposed to say playstation and switch.

That shouldn't be a thing. I am on Playstation and I have seen anonymous mode Playstation players and I cannot see their names. I can't click on their profiles.
