Is MMR broken (again..?)
Since the mid-chapter update, I've gone against god-like players as killer almost non-stop. Especially SWF's and/or bullies. I know that I am not that good of a killer, so why the hell am I getting these guys against me?
Did the patch do something wonky to the MMR? I'm getting burned out a little bit because matches aren't fun anymore. And no, I don't mean that I should be getting 4K's in every match. But the difference on how good players go against me, shoot through the roof since the patch.
Or is the system rigged so that, if a killer goes against SWF's, the MMR matches the lowest player from that team against killer? And if the three others are in say, top 10% of the rating, they tag along with he lowest one..?
Anyone else experienced something like this since the last patch?

Yeah. I'm already doing that, but I don't want to "play" lobby dodging simulator all day.

Something changed. It would be nice if we could see numbers and alert the devs if there's a bug. But then elitism would happen and a bunch of people would talk about how they're "high MMR" and that would lead to gatekeeping in discussions and.....wait.....
My killer games have been really easy. Some players seem really out of place. Default cosmetics, not looking behind them, not equipping full loadouts.

I have some days that way and some days almost the opposite. Today I had good day. But something maybe wrong because I was facing also below average killers today while playing survivor.

Maybe they decided that this was a "killer-sided" update and tweaked killer MMR numbers in some fashion.
But I was mostly getting teams like this before the update, too, so I dunno.

Queues are near-instant, despite a dwindling player count.
The developers never promised even match-ups--they only said MMR would make sure you "won" every now and then.
So whether or not it is "broken" is largely up for debate. It could be working exactly as the developers intended. As long as players are getting their wins every x number of games, BHVR might not care what those wins look like.
You got your endorphin kick, so you keep playing the game. It's just like gambling, and it's just as dangerous to players' mental.

Ive realized something being off as well, but instead its absolute stomp fests. Got a group of 3 where 2 of them had less than 400 hours twice in a row.

It does feel this way im a wesker main 4k every game and I get p 20-30 in my bobbies and even noobs who cant figure out playthinf. But then i play huntress and artist who i rarely play and get a p 100 with a swf every lobby. Mind you im not good as artist and im alright as huntress. All my killers p2-6
