lets discuss are any of the licensed killers worth buying for their perks?
deadlock seems like the only remotely playable perk with the new meta?
or am i missing a really obvious meta with licensed killer perks?
what are the communities thoughts?

Deadlock nerf is gonna happen and it's gonna be soon.

what would the nerf even be? less time active?

I'm inclined to think onryo, myers, and wesker are some pretty good options at least

Myers is really valuable atm since there are no answers to his perks with decisive gone for tunnelling.

scourge from onryo is okay, no clue how gutted call of brine got because i don't play onryo or her perks lol, save the best from myers is still really really good but it still could be considered killer reliant, i think from wesker the only one interesting is awakened awareness with starstruck agi, not very many perks that could be considered meta anymore though from licensed killers. most decent or higher perks are either free (sloppy butcher, mindbreaker, jolt) or are from the original chapters nowadays (corrupt, painres, etc), i honestly hope they look into this because these killers cost real money and should be worth more to get than just the killer. (plus, killers having bad perks makes getting adept achievements awful. please give killers decent perks thanks bhvr)

any particular one on wesker and myers? onryu still has info on call of brine even with the slow regression.

save the best for last depends on if the killer has a secondary ability to not lose stacks but yeah it is pretty good...that is why licensed killers dont seem to be worth the auric cells in most cases unless the person really just wants to play that specific killer

have tried play with your food and stbfl with a hit an run wraith and had decent success

Only activates once per game.

Pinhead is really hot right now, with Gift of Pain being a sloppy butcher alternative, Plaything being popular to pair with Pentimento, and Deadlock making a huge break into the meta (it's basically on course to be nerfed sadly, since it gets used so often now)
Sadako's perks all have seen semi-consistent use for the past several months. Be it people abusing Merciless Storm, or using Call of Brine, or Floods of Rage which is just quite good but underused.
Nemesis is also a good choice, because Lethal Pursuer is an excellent perk and Eruption got nerfed but was super popular a month before, and still useable at least.
Pyramid Head is a nope, and Ghostface only has I'm All Ears worth using.

Not really. Stbfl is amazing on clown and he doesn't have a way to avoid losing stacks.
Just ignoring the obsession is more then enough to get good vallue out of the perk. You typically want to focus on 2 survivors anyway to get people out of the game asap so ignoring the obsession is a good rule of thumb regardless of if you have stbfl.

Lethal Pursuer from Nemesis
Trail of Torment from Pyramid Head if you're into stealth play.
BBQ & Chili from Bubba
Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain from Pinhead
Wesker just in general. There is no downside to just buying that dlc.
I would say Demogorgon's perks, but they've become general perks after Netflix pulled the license I think.
Play With Your Food and Save The Best For Last from Myers are decent value adds.

There is always Bubba with BBQ. It's not great but a solid pick nonetheless.

Here's the one's I think are worth it for the perks alone:
Myers ~ STBFL is really good. PWYF is okay, at best. Dying Light is bad.
Bubba ~ Franklin's is good. BBQ is still good. Knockout is bad.
Ghostface ~ Furtive Chase is bad. I'm All Ears is good and so is Thrilling Tremors.
Nemesis ~ Lethal Pursuer is an extremely good perk. Eruption is still okay. Hysteria is bad.
Pinhead ~ All three of his perks are absurdly good. PR is godly, Deadlock is really good and Gift of Pain is agonizing to play against.
Sadako ~ Floods of Rage is good. Merciless Storm is due for another bug soon, take that how you will. CoB + Overcharge is still good on Dull Merchant.

Pig and Pyramid are crying somewhere in the corner

They've all got something:
The Shape: STBFL - This is a staple now. Faster recovery after hits is really effective.
The Cannibal: BBQ - The aura reading is exceptionally useful and again it's still really common.
The Nightmare: Blood Warden - Done right, this perk can have so much potential in the endgame. An oft slept-on perk.
The Pig: MYC - Can be excellent if converted into a snowball effect.
The Ghost Face: I'm All Ears - Nice aura reading perk.
The Demogorgon: Jolt - I know this is a regular perk now, but at the time and even now Jolt is a strong gen regressor.
The Executioner: Forced Penance - An unbelieveably slept-on perk that can create a lot of pressure.
The Nemesis T-Type: Lethal Pursuer - A great perk in both early game and extending on existing auras.
The Cenobite: All 3 - Each perk is excellent. If you want an all-in-one killer, this is the pick.
The Onryō: Floods of Rage - Another great aura reading perk and very useful for more mobile killers.
The Mastermind: Superior Anatomy - A fun chase perk that can really catch survivors out who mess about at vaults.

I think you confused PR (Artist's perk) with Plaything, which is still quite good though

had not thought about that one...that would kill the perk dead

it just becomes harder when the obsession decides to follow you around and tank hits...i know one less person doing gens but it is very annoying
