Has the anti-slugging mechanic been completely scrapped?

I apologize if this question has already been addressed and I am just not aware of it. I was wondering if the mechanic has just been delayed/reworked or just entirely scrapped. This curiosity comes from a recent game with a Pinhead using Knock Out so that survivors wouldn't be able to see slugged survivors auras which, therefore, meant that the solo queue game was a disaster. Instead of doing gens, I had to prioritize opening the box and hoping I would find a slugged survivor before they bled out half way. The Pinhead ended up with four survivors slugged. He let two of them bleed out, put one on hook, and left me on the ground to see if the survivor got the 4% - or so I thought. After the hooked survivor died, I was left slugged until the very last second because obviously Pinhead could not miss out on the three hook stages acting AFK right? I understand if the mechanic was too strong but I really wouldn't mind a toned down version that would prevent this playstyle when I have no way of communicating with teammates.

Well. It was part of the Finisher Mori test, which consisted of plenty of changes that belonged together and were announced to be very early design phase and would undergo changes, for which they wanted early community feedback.

so we can’t really answer your question, the devs are working on these changes which might scrap parts of it including the base ability to stand up.
