Why is dbd acting so laggy/cant load game

my boyfriend, bestfirend and i were trying to all play but for some reason the game was extremely laggy for me and kept trying to disconnect me. My bestfriend also could not even load into the game. Please help me out here?

    the same is happening for me, i usually have 95 ping now after this small update i have 130+ ping constantly. My best guess on why this is happening for me is that I usually have to play on Frankfurt Germany servers to get the lowest ping and it must be down so they send me to lobbies in the UK so thats probably why im getting 130+ ping. This could be the same issue for you too but im honestly not sure.
