Who Approached Who?
I gotta know who approached who with this Nicolas Cage thing. Did BHVR approach Nic Cage and ask him if he wanted to be in DBD, or did Nic Cage approach BHVR asking to be in DBD. I sincerely hope its the latter cause that would just be amazing.

Nick is pretty approachable from what I know and he loves working on smaller films like willie’s wonderland
Wouldn’t be surprised if bhvr approached and he was excited to do it

I had the thought myself, just a few minutes ago... I wonder if Cage might be in that DBD movie in production right now, and that's what sparked this idea.
No proof of this, of course, just idle speculation.

I don't think either side approached the other. He was just in the game files one day in a folder titled "July".
