Kind of..... disappointed
I am not saying it is bad.......
But....it feels like nothing.
I don't know about how you guys, but at least myself is really expect for this 7th Anniversary live stream.
But after such a long wait, there is really nothing in the Stream, not like a 7th Anniversary at all.
No killer change,no perk change,no gaming system change, even don't have any information.
A normal live stream for new patch would at least talk about the information about new dlc like new perks and killer, but no we don't even have that this time.
Just keep saying that this will be sifi-scary this time, yeah we know we have eyes.
TBH all the stuff they said about the game play can easily just write in the road map.
After watching like nearly 2 hours,i feel like i watching nothing but anti-face camping, which is quite weird, because face campping is not very common right now.
It is feeling like this 7th anniversary is more empty than a normal live stream.

Sooo... i'm not personally disappointed.
But also... I didn't see anything that makes me want to play DBD this year.
The sci-fi horror looks super cool, and I'm hyped that they are exploring that subgenre, but at the end of the day it's just a reskin of everything we already have. They aren't reinventing the wheel, and I've grown tired of the same old loop.
The value of each chapter now rides on the reputation that precedes licensed chapters.
Something I've really wanted for some time now are dynamic environments. Imagine, for example, that this upcoming chapter map begins on a spaceship that is spiraling towards an alien planet. Survivors have X minutes to complete X generators in order to repair the ship. If they don't, the whole ship crashes and the rest of the game plays out on the alien planet.
The spaceship and the planet would be two very different maps, that lean into two different playstyles/killer types.

Perk search bar is cool. It also should have been added 2+ years ago... better late than never, I guess.
Bot backfill on DC is really nice and I'm excited for that change.
The Nicolas Cage announcement is ... really weird, TBH. I'm not sure how I feel yet; having a real and still-living person in the game as a character is oddly fourth-wall-breaking and not in a good way. It makes me think that there was a meeting one day at BHVR and someone made a joke about getting Cage to be in the game and everyone had a good laugh except for that one employee who doesn't get sarcasm. This employee then went off and negotiated with Cage to be in the game and, when successful, brought the news to the rest of the team who stared dumbfounded at them, thinking "well... we can't really tell Cage that it was all just a joke, right? Ah, beans. I guess he's going in the game."
The new chapter's aesthetic is very good, but I'll withhold judgement on the chapter until we see how the killer works and the perks that will be included.
The planned Coldwind reworks have me absolutely terrified after the recent Mother's Dwelling rework where they took one of the most survivor-sided maps in the game and fixed it by making it even more survivor-sided. They also praised themselves for the RPD rework that didn't really address any of the complaints anyone had with the map. I really think they're going to rework the two Coldwind maps into something far worse than they already are. As much as I want problematic maps to be reworked, I do not trust the map designers to move the balance needle towards the middle.
Cosmetic stuff generally holds no interest for me so I mentally tuned out for that segment.
Face camp change is inconsequential unless they manage to botch the implementation; I don't face camp so it won't affect me.
All in all, I found the stream in the "kind of good, I guess, but not terribly exciting" category.

Well the stream seems to have started a new whining wave on the forums ..... So i thank them for the entertainment. 👍

I heavily agree with this. The sad thing is, it wasn't even because it was leaked, because had I not known anything, I would have left very underwhelmed.

I second that fear of the coldwind rework. Like, Autohaven, they did a decent job but red forest was an absolute failure. Gideons was an absolute failure. Badham was an absolute failure. I just need them to do better or leave it well enough alone.

I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me why Nicolas Cage is in this game using his own name. Like, not even a character name, why is Nicolas Cage himself here. It shouldn't be bothering me this much, but it is.

U are not saying its bad, but I am.
The new killer is basically leftovers of two original killers like ???? It literally has dredge’s arm but bladed like SM’s arm blades, amorphous body like dredge’s but sci fi like SM. It is soooooo lazy like everything they have been delivering lately
they didnt really show anything during the stream, nothing worth of note. There’s literally nothing to look forward to. The anniversary feels more like a funeral tbh

I liked it personally.
New chapter looks cool. A machine looking to enhance itself with fleshy bits instead of the other way around is not something i've seen often.
Don't know anything about the gameplay obviously but i feel they nailed the aesthetics and the feel of the chapter so far.
Search bar is going to be so handy, random perks will be pretty fun too but i can see why that wouldn't excite a lot of people.
New licenced with a capital L excittes me too cause the only big ones that i find aren't here yet are Chucky and Jason which i both would love to see in the game.
There is a argument for Fnaf being big too but i wouldn't mind seeing that too tbh. Wouldn't be as excitting for me but not a dealbreaker.
Anti face camp sounds like a good change all around. Will have to wait to see how it works ofcourse but from what they told they atleast put some thought into it. With it slowing down when survivors are near or shutting off during end game.
Also this might be me reading between the lines too much but them saying it works on both hook stages means they might change how hookstages work and that might mean no more bypassing the DC penalty by suiciding on hook
Which segways nicely to the next thing DC bots which i'm all for. Most excitting thing for me.
Somebody DCing completely ruined any match for me (both sides) i usually end up feeling bad for the other survivors which means i take my foot of the gaspedal a bit and a match that was suppose to be fast and excitting turnes into a boring stroll.
I haven't played a lot against the bots but from the little i have they seem to be better then half of the playerbase so i no longer have to worry about my matches being ruined. Also no more getting cucked out of challenges /points. No more DC to give the hatch. This change seems amazing for both sides to me.
Overal i'm happy

The only thing for me is that due to the leaks, they had to move up the stream by 5 days, but the PTB is still set for Tuesday. It doesn't feel right not being able to try out the new chapter after the anniversary stream.

They mentioned they're going to be holding more streams going forward. I feel like instead of making promises for the year ahead, they're now going to be changing things up on a more frequent schedule depending on what might be needed at the time.
