Some fear about that anti-camping.
First of all, yes we all hate basement bubbas, ok with this anticamp.
Now, my fear is more about spaguetti code that BHVR have.
What happens in Game/Midwich if someone is hooked in the middle? Or just above you.
That still count as ""close"", so i just hope that new auto-unhook is good enought at close but bad enought at some distance.
It will not affect in bigger maps, my worries are more in small /2 floors maps.
Just wanted to comment it. Have a good day.

Is it gonna be like with Reassurance where you can still camp from above basement?

There's lot we don't know, but I suspect if the killer is close enough to the survivor to trigger the anti-camp that easily, than multiple other survivors are as well, slowing down the process.

It's going to be a massive BS
I truly hope they will test that stupid thing a lot before going live

Apparently it won’t work vertically, or at least it will work less vertically than it will if the killer were on the same floor

The devs said the anti camp meter would fill faster the closer the killer is to the hooked survivor, that makes me think that scenarios where the killer is on a different floor of the hooked surv would make the meter fill slow enough that the survivor wouldnt get the unhook attempt.
Unless you are standing directly below/above the hook for a prolonged time, it wouldnt be a problem.

I think 16m is way too big. It should have the same range as applying reassurance, without the verticality. I see what their trying to do and I'm all for it, but this aint it chief.

what you described has literally nothing to do with spaghetti code but with the actual design of the feature

This could be solved if, like Spine Chill, it triggers and builds up when the hooked is in the line of sight of the killer. A camper that cannot see what they are camping has their effectiveness reduced.
