I'd bet money one of the chapters this year will be from Until Dawn given supermassive (makers of until dawn) are making another game with DBD

I didn’t even consider that. If it’s from an another video game I’d personally want Scissorman from Clock Tower and Jennifer Simpson as a survivor. I’d also take Alan Wake as a survivor :)

I know Pennywise & Vecna 100% ain't coming, my guess is either Alien due to the next chapter also being Sci-fi, Jason since the lawsuit is over or maybe also Cucky because Dave Richard wants him in.

I wouldn't be too sure it's Until Dawn considering Sony still refuses to let go of it.

I think it's going to be licenses that will make BHVR a lot of money.

I think if there was a big, well-known license like Chucky or Stranger Things coming this year, it would have been for the anniversary.

I'm all for original characters, and this coming chapter looks amazing !

I'd be excited to have more niche licenses coming to the game too. Anything but a 3rd Resident Evil !

    The Xenomorph

Basing it on what BHVR said during their anniversary stream, there's not much bigger than the "Alien" franchise. It's on of the final few titans of horror yet to appear. My guess is that this franchise will be a full chapter.

The "paragraph" chapter of one killer alone may be one of two:

    1. Art the Clown. The guy who made it was extremely vocal in wanting Art to arrive. It was as if the creator would sign almost anything for Art to be a part of the roster.

    2. A second "Silent Hill" monster. A new one, since "Silent Hill: Ascension" is getting some trailers. It might be out later this year, so having one of the monsters from this new game in DBD would be a great way to promote a new Silent Hill game BHVR are involved with.

Guys, you might hate me for saying this but I don’t want Art the clown in the game. I was not a fan of Terrifier because it seemed to put all its focus on “how shocking can we be in this day and age” rather than on telling a good scary story. Dead by daylight is, surprisingly, very low on the gore factor. Gore is an essential part of horror, but I think its importance is rooted in realism rather than shock value. I honestly think DBD needs to up that realism when it comes to moris and such but I don’t think they’d ever be able to “do justice” to a character whose entire franchise is built on torture/gore porn.

Glad someone else wasn't into Terrifier, I'm a huge fan of slasher but that movie was dumb and just tried to be as extreme and off-putting as possible. Not far off a snuff film tbh. Utterly pointless film.

Woah, I haven’t seen anyone mention DV before! I mean, yeah, he’s scary but is he suited for a horror game setting? Hmm… Terminator I could see because the T-1000 scared the crap outta me as a kid but even then it’s not what I would’ve guessed. And thank you for your comment on Terrifier; I respect other peoples opinions and tastes but I personally find the Hostel-esque type films to be vacuous. I can agree about the final girl comment though.
