Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

How would you make a random perk OP

Let's say I don't know self care it has no slow down on it do you have normal survivor healing speed on.

I feel like the only rule to this is stuff like exhaustion perks would still have a cool down since the perk would be OP not impossible to counter.

    Looking to clarify here...

You're asking how others would take an existing perk and change it to be stronger?

By OP, do you mean meta/popular, but not necessarily broken?

Making existing perks stronger to a meta form but not to the point that their basically impossible counter for example of impossible to counter Sprint Burst never runs out.

    Just making them meta strong.

Make shadowborn reveal the auras of survivors who are undetectable on top of it's current effect :).

    Lockers, distortion and whatever else.

Not sure that would be meta.

Well you said random, so I ran a random perk generator...

Up the Ante, Corrective Action, Ace in the Hole, Poised

    Up the Ante

You start the trial with 0 Token(s) and gain a Token each time you or another survivor are hooked. Each Token applies an 8/9/10% bonus to the Luck of all Survivors, up to a maximum of 80%. The next time a Survivor unhooks themself, all of your Tokens are consumed.

This would not be stackable, so multiple survivors running Up the Ante would be redundant.

    Corrective Action

Each time another Survivor cooperating with you fails a Skill Check, Corrective Action activates, transforming their Failed Skill Check into a Good Skill Check instead.

I don't understand why this perk is Token based. I don't think this change makes the perk meta, but it could go a long way for introducing new players to DBD.

    Ace in the Hole

In addition to its existing effects...

When retrieving an Item from a Chest, the Entity asks for your request. Once per trial, you may choose which item type to receive from a Chest.

    Poised

When starting to run from a generator, you will not leave an Scratch Marks for the next 3 seconds. Poised has a cool-down of 60/50/40 seconds.

Dead hard- make it back to the 2017 dead hard where exhaustion depleted while you were running.
