new killer sucks
Boring to play, EMPs are overpowered so your power barely does anything, theres a stupid long cooldown to mark survivors, and then even if all of that doesnt get in your way your teleport slows you down so much that if they are anywhere near a pallet they dont get hit.
The EMPs only exist to counter 3 genning because they knew he'd be broken at it, so they mad emps lock down his power for like over a minute in an AOE. they also get rid of the infection, so despite the cooldown per infect and emps lasting for eternity, they can just save their EMP to get rid of the TP. So the lock on you got, and the infection both get completely nullified along with your camera for a while.
You cant even watch gens with his power because they just run up and use the emp, then do the generator. He's an unfun setup killer, a weaker hag with extra steps that can be completely removed by the overpowered item he spawns. I really thought knight and mid merchant sucked bc they were making something fire for the anniversary, but nope, turns out bhvr just lost their touch after wesker.
but if you like this chapter, good for you! i'm happy that you like the anniversary this year, and I hope you enjoy it when it goes live. Have fun in the fog.

Wowie, 10 whole seconds of being good after a teleport. A teleport that will never happen bc emps are busted, and will never get you value because you get stunned like crazy anyways.

I think he could really be solid if EMPs weren't so oppressive honestly. The fact that there's SEVEN boxes around the map and each just keep spawning them so as you run to the next gen/unhook you can easily grab an EMP on the way.
I would honestly take the emp having to be an action you stand still for to use over being able to run with it if they made it so when you teleport to someone with a biopod it would make it disappear off their back.

They need to tune down EMP too much boxes, almost no cooldown, big area, affect biopods and heal infection, like holly #########.
Like theme and gameplay but with EMP is almost imposible to play.

They should be a choice. If you take the item from the box, it should have a really really long respawn timer, or you can just use the box, and its a shorter timer to make a new one.
The other thing is that you shouldn't be able to use them while moving. You should have to stop moving and they take like 8 seconds. Or they force you to walk instead of run. That way you can't use them in a chase. Right now the best strat is to just pick one up, hold it, and when you get infected immediately clear it while getting chased, and he is an m1 killer.
Or maybe, the EMP you take with you can't cure infection, and must be done at a box. That way you actually have to find a box or something to clear it.

The EMPs are a hard counter to Singularity's power. Not even Blight has something like that! And even if they completely removed the EMPs (not saying they should do that) Singularity wouldn't even be near base kit Blight in terms of strength. The teleport doesn't give a lot of value most of the time, especially when you consider how much time you need to invest to first infect them and then get the teleport.
The time that is necessary to do that would be better used playing M1 killer. Really, I feel even when you get a super quick down with Larry's power it'd be more time efficient to play M1 killer instead. I can only repeat myself. For a killer power to be worthy of such a hard counter mechanic it must be overpowered without it. Otherwise we get what we have right now with Singularity.
It's sad. This killer has great potential but they had to make sure that it could never be oppressive even against blindfolded survivors. So much handholding. You see the EMPs, see what will be affected by it, you cannot overlook a biopod because of the particle effect, EMPs remove slip stream and kill biopods (1 minute is an eternity, so the killer will have to reset them), survivors see which biopod is active, Shift + W counters the teleport and the list goes on. This isn't how a good killer works! Wesker doesn't have all that handholding and a better and more oppressive power and he is great.

pretty much agreed, he has to infect, shoot it, wait for a few seconds, catch up to killers, and then maybe you could do the spirit furier or ultimate anatomy things, and still don't get a hit.
I get it like yeah he is decent at 3 genning when manually replacing pods, but he doesn't really have much of chase power so basically making him as 3gen strat only killer.
The only time you'd get decent value from it is when you hit the survivor then used the pod, and then that would still be just a glorified save the best for last.
