Im going to take a Break.
yep you read the titel. I just want to start of with everyonce can play how they wish I have no problems with being tunneled or genrushed since its just me making mistakes since i tend to not care about being good. The reason im going to take a break is the evolving "comp" mindset that is starting to rise within the game. I have no problems with players wanting to win. If you want to win thats fine! At the end of the day its just a game. But its not for me so ill take a break from the game until Nic's release. Im just not having fun even with me only playing 1 match a month.

You do have problems with tunneling and genrushing. Without either of those two there wouldn't be a "comp" mindset. There's nothing wrong with having those problems because you can probably see all the large threads discussing both.

COD matchmaking gives me the same random games as before tbh (unless its ranked), can't say that about DBD, so agree with coco vid.

You can take some time off when you are addicted. An example would be World of Warcraft. I'm sure it happens elsewhere, too, the reasons are just different in DbD.

Good, a break every now and then helps a lot.
I do advice taking a actual break and not a pseudo one. Don't play the game, don't visit the forums, don't watch videos put it out of your mind completely.
Many people here make the mistake of stopping to play the game but still visit the forum that's full of complaints. That will make you hyperfocus on the negative stuff without being able to experience the good this game has to offer and will really sour your eventual return

On one hand, take a break if you need to as your mental health is extremely important and if a game isn't enjoyable anymore there's no reason to inflict it to yourself.
On the other, I really don't see the point of announcing it in a forum. Like, what's the point?
