Does Prototype Rotor Addon (Skull Merchant) Even Work?

Hi,

I've been trying to get value out of this addon since Skull Merchant was released, but there just does not seem to be any effect.

I place a drone, and let it go into passive mode, then I chase a survivor into it, they hit the yellow laser causing the drone to go into active mode. Sometimes I run into the area after them, sometimes I'm in the area when they trigger the drone, but I only ever get the base 3% haste from the survivor being detected.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there not supposed to be a Haste icon on the right when this addon is in effect?

    Nope. It’s been bugged since her release and they even reduced its rarity without fixing it. It doesn’t do anything.
