what is the reason weskers inflation is perma -8% speed ? there isn't even a perk or addon that lasts 30 seconds, but putting perma in weskers ability is ok? hope that got changed soon

Because you can remove it? You can avoid it entirely if you don't get hit with his power, which you can do by forcing him into melee range. This is only active when you reach full infection, the indicator has to be red. If it's white, you're fine.

Wesker's infection builds up slowly over time and its progress is clearly visible. Unless the Wesker decides to ignore all gens and decides to camp and tunnel you, you will always have an opportunity to cure yourself before reaching maximum infection.
Don't compare every single form of Hindered in the game across different killers like they're equal. A lot of them aren't even good.

Because it takes 100 seconds to build (from first grab; From hook, it's closer to 60) and exists solely to be a consequence for ignoring infection, letting the mechanic function as a form of slowdown.

it is perfectly fine. what isn't fine is his ability to easily tunnel someone infected and survivors not having anything to do about it.

It's not permanent, you can cleanse the status effect.
