Auto didact is so understimate
Like, now that CoH is nerfed, being able to 60% instantly is insane, I used against killer with anti heals builds and its game changing

Autodidact is incredibly underrated, the fast heals you get with the perk is very good.

It would be good if it wasn't completely RNG-based.
If the perk guaranteed at least one skill check per heal, then it'd be good.

I haven't used it much but every time I have tried it I have become a super heal bot. Crazy how quick you can get heals off at max tokens.

I love autodidact I use it in many of my games. Farming all your tokens with Sloppy Butcher to power up early is really satisfying.

i used it for a period of time because it's fun but i realized that botany is simply better unless it's half an hour long match with a hit and run killer.

I love it, but the amount of games where I get 3 tokens or less is just too much.

I gave that perk a chance many times but the rng of skillchecks ######### you over more often than not. Botany is more consistent for me

Or just a token for a completed heal. That way, getting zero skillchecks for the first heal would actually be beneficial to the perk.
Bottom line is that unless you can secure at least five skillchecks, Autodidact helps the killer more than the survivors, and I think you need 7 or so before you break even with perks like Botany and Desperate Measures.
It's a really trash perk, one of the worst in the game.
