A question. And a proposal... about Demogorgon.
so... just kinda wondering... about demo coming back.
im super new to dbd, (2 months) and something unrelated caught my eye and i wanted to throw an idea out there
microsoft is being sued with a 65 billion injunction to stop them buying activision.
i think Behaviour should go after the stranger things content.
my question, is; has anything like this been done?
my proposal, is; to start a dbd playerbase petition for it, if nothing has...

I don't think aggravating past partners with lawsuits is the right way to get anything. Most likely it won't work and will be a sure fire way of never collabing ever again.

There is always hoping for a new season of Stranger Things to come out and Netflix wanting some quick cash... especially after the recent crackdown on account sharing, they will likely look for big advertisement opportunities...
Maybe if bhvr wait for the opportune moment to strike with a deal... I'm hopeful too. Demo looks pretty fun, and Steve and Nancy are both cool characters.
Sales would explode if they got an Eddie Survivor... like it's scary to think about that money train xD

Same lmao I'm just hoping Netflix will get greedy again so there's a chance we can get Robin, Eddie & Vecna, or at least so players who started playing after ST got removed can get the chapter. Even if I don't get anything new I'd be very happy to encounter more Demogorgons.

And this not only with the license holders of Stranger Things, probably every potential license holder will think twice to collab with BHVR if they try to sue a former partner.

Netflix is a very large company, they decided to remove this content because they wanted to enter the video game industry and thus recreate games with Demorgorgon and their characters from their most favorite series.
If Netflix really wanted to make money again, obviously they could collaborate with BHVR again, since BHVR has the doors open for a future collaboration, the only thing left is to wait.

How exactly is microsoft being sued to stop the activision buyout on anti-trust grounds related to BHVR getting back the rights to stranger things? Both sides agreed to a contract, and then the contract expired and netflix chose not to renew it. Neither side did anything wrong. BHVR has no grounds to sue netflix on.

Yeah, that's now how that works

What sue Netflix for stranger things content?
That would be like you owning something (whatever it might be) letting someone use it for a certain amount of time when that time was up you took it back.
But for them to turn around and take you to court over it.
