Serious question about Singularity slipstream
He got buffed great. But I have found more problems with the killer and it’s actually not the emps it’s one glaring sight that I need to ask.
Why do survivors lose the infection when getting hooked? It makes using his power pointless on injured and it makes him more clunky. Reason I bring this up is because nemesis and wesker have infect abilities but they don’t lose the infection on hooks so why is it different for Hux?
I just got out of a game where so many were injured then it hit me, using my power is actually hurting me cause when I hook them they lose the infection anyway so why waste my time? They really need to buff him again cause he’s not threatening to face at all or play as! Better than Skull Merchant but needs work.
TDRL: Survivors shouldn’t lose slipstream when hooked it should work like Weskers infection where it stays until a emp is used.

Because if they didn’t lose Slipstream then as soon as they are unhooked the Singularity could just shoot them from a distance and teleport. It’s an anti-tunneling measure.
I would also say that if you hooked that survivor, then most likely that Slipstream has done its job. Considering you can teleport multiple times off of the same Slipstream, I think it’s fair that a newly unhooked survivor gets the benefit of not being Slipstreamed anymore.

I think people consistently underrate exactly how strong Hux's Overclock and teleport are. Using your power on an injured survivor is absolutely worth it- you can catch up to a hold-W absurdly easily, and if you use it in a loop neither pallets or windows are safe for the survivor. Assuming you used it at the right time, of course.
Plus, if you could teleport immediately to a survivor that just got unhooked, tunnelling them would be extremely easy.
