What these events have taught me
When I play killer, I'll bring cakes, and everyone seems to make the most out of it. Leave with massive amount of BP and a mask.
When I play survivor, get matched with the most tryhard/seething killer players I've ever seen. People DC, I get face camped on hook, leave with minimal BPs and no mask.

Yep, every event is like this.
Pro-tip: If you're survivor, stack a full anti-tunnel build, if you're a killer, play Legion with pills and mural sketch.

I literally just spent a match as Knight chasing my own guards and bashing them on the head and the survivors were still scared and ran away every chance. I had fun though and got my mask lmao.

lol yeah killer games have been the least sweatiest everyone is just trying to get as much bloodpoints as you can out of the lobby

God forbids people want to play normally even when an event is running, heh? Basically everyone got all 12 masks by the end of the first day already btw.

Did you try to just nod at them? Or let them pallet stun you? Something to show you’re willing to farm

Yeah I switched to killer today to finish getting masks since I kept getting tunneled and camped out at 4-5 gens all day yesterday.
When I switched to killer I brought tiramisu and tried to farm cuz I wanted us ll to rack up some BP and let them get their masks. Each time, they all ran from me scared so I just got my invitation and waited for match to end to get my masks .
On survivor side, I stopped bringing the BP offerings because I was tired of getting tunneled out with 5-8K BP while the killer was racking up 40K and walking out of each match with 100-200K BP.
I really wish the devs would stop making these events a cakewalk for killer to get the cosmetics (all they have to do is grab an invitation) while making them so difficult for survivors (having to survive until gates are powered) when they know tunneling and camping is the easiest and favorite tactic used by killers in their game.
Killer is the power role. They have the ability to deny survivors the cosmetics but survivors can’t deny them the cosmetics ever. That’s super unbalanced. Wh

Yesterday I played 42 games and only got 2 masks. Almost every match I was tunneled out, camped, bleed out, and my average BP per match was 12k excluding BP offerings (roughly 60k per match with event offerings).
Realistically, it took me longer to P3 a Survivor during an event where +535% BP is possible almost every game than P3ing a Killer normally.

Always have to get the edgy killer ( who get cakes easier ) with a mori or no offering at all.

During the day yesterday was great as a survivor. Killers still played for kills but everyone left with so much bp and there was zero BM. Hopped on at night for some games and gave up after two lol both killers were... something else

42 games and only 2 masks... wow. I played 13 games and got 9 masks! One mask I got when I died second last on Borgo, with 2 gens remaining, so I wonder if hatch spawns a tad quicker on that map because I don't know how I got it. I died second last in a later game on RPD and didn't get any mask. Were you playing in the evening? I played 2 games at night and decided no more. The other games were during the day and while the killers still play for kills, they were alot more chill. No camping or tunnelling or slugging for the 4k.

I have the opposite. I'm playing killer and every survivor team is coming in with 4 toolboxes and just rushes gens when we have 3-5 BP offerings. I am trying not to kill anyone but I still want points. If the game is only 3 minutes long I don't have time to even get any hooks. This community is so strange.

Idk why survivors have to survive to get the masks, like as long as they get the invitation and don't DC from the match, that should be good enough. That's basically what it is for killers so why do survivors have an extra step? I can only guess it is to prevent DCing but still, there's got to be some way around that.

You can play how you want, not complaining. Just find it funny that some are sweating so hard it feels like they just want to deny the event for some people. c'est la vie.
