When exactly are you supposed to hit the button for this event ability?
I’m playing survivor and when I have charges, I see the blue color showing I can spawn a pallet but when I push the active ability button it doesn’t do anything.
I’ve played 6 matches trying to get this stupid challenge done to use the event ability 3X and I can’t finish it because it’s not working.

Controller. I even changed the key binding on the event activate ability button to something easier for me to hit and it won’t work.
I see the blue aura of the area, and when I’m being chased and run towards it, it tells me to hit the button and when I do nothing happens. And of course I can’t stand there and keep trying it to get it to work cuz I’m in chase so I just go down.
This challenge is pissing me off and I can’t continue in the tome on the survivor side until I complete it.

Okay I figured it out. It has to do with distance from a pallet spawn or vault points. The auras are showing up for me when I’m close to them but it won’t activate the ability unless I’m a certain distance away. I figured it out when I just started pressing the button before I saw the prompt to press it and it worked. When it gets to the point that it shows me the prompt when I’m close, that’s when it doesn’t work. Lmao
annoying but I got it at least. Thanks for your help

I'm on PC but use a controller and it never works for me, I always end up dying.
