Why remove Bonus Bloodpoints from perks?
Ive never understood why BHVR feels the need to remove bonus bp from perks.
so BHVR why?

They want people to use perk for the perk effects and not feel forced to play them just so they don't feel like they missed out on bloodpoints.
Which to be fair is a good reason. I know every single time i equiped Prove it was for the BP and not the actual effect and i didn't want to remove it cause of the bloodpoints. And it was waay worse with WglF and BBQ
The grind has been reduced so drastically that it isn't really needed anymore
It feels bad at first but the breath of fresh air being able to freely choose perks without fear of missing out on bloodpoints is worth it imo

I think they said in a Dev Update when they removed the bonus BP from BBQ + Chili and WGLF that they don't want to force players to equip certain perks just for the incentive of bonus BP. Hence they also lowered the blood web prices. But honestly, the grind remained the same.

First BBQ/WGLF altered TOTAL BP gained, not category restricted ones. The problem also is they didn't universally also remove it from all perks like Beast of Prey, Hex Thrill of the Hunt, Distressing, or No One Left Behind. This seems like a stat/pick-rate nerf instead of one grounded in reason.
