Im very very very worried about these Sadako change
While I play all the killers frequently, I also play Sadako a lot
And personally, I never used the slug condemn playstyle despite its effectiveness, that getting nerfed in this update is not what im worried about and I think it was very much needed
an Addon pass was all that was needed
This whole Rework smells very funky to me, to the point I wonder if its an overall hinderance to her, I will admit this is probably something we need to see on the PTB, but I want to time capsule my concerns
The only good thing about this is that every survivor is getting condemned more frequently no matter what, so that may lead to slightly more pressure, but even then this gets rid of the Info you would previously receive upon teleporting to a tv and knowing if a survivor was in 16 meters or not if they had gotten a stack, now everyone will no matter what so youre trading info for pressure there
You have to be teleporting constantly (need 10 teleports to fully condemned a survivor which is at least 150 seconds) to force any slowdown with your power, and even then it gets countered by survivors simply holding a tape (which can be deposited in any other TV now) so you will have to change targets often to accumulate any decent pressure.
I can not stress enough how bad of a change ANY TV is, the whole point of the condemn effect is wasting survivors time tracking down their TV so they can get rid of the tape, this could take anywhere from 10-20 seconds
Now youll be lucky if its more then 3, its like they gave pig triple her traps but it was a guarantied removal on the first box, it will be an actual miracle if you ever get a full condemn, I really dont see it will ever be possible to get anywhere close to a full condemn after these changes
While it is nice that it takes slightly less time for TVs to go off cooldown, its still WAY too ######### long, and because of the tape changes survivors can turn off any TV they want with no real penalty basically disabling a tele point from you the whole match, with very little drawback
Projection needing a 15 second cooldown will make her feel way less fluid then before, and overall more clunky especially with all the TV cooldowns and tapes effecting the cooldowns in a way to make them basically infinite. I really dont see a reason to even play her over dredge in this respect, he's now obviously the teleporting master
Tapes now requiring a basic attack to gain stacks, and giving stacks to the whole team on hooks doesnt matter when they can hear (or see you coming thanks to Visual Terror radius nerfing Sadakos stealth because of the lullaby mechanics) they can just deposit the tape they were carrying with no drawbacks
Even then, to get any use of new Sadako would require mandatory hit and run playstyle on her, there is simply no other way I can possibly imagine playing New Sadako after these *changes* unless these addons are wild
the demanifestation changes are, alright I guess, I guess if you time it right you can take a stun without the stun and just break the pallet, hurray?
I dont think I missed anything, I hope im not the only one a little nervous of these changes, Sadako was always considered weak but I still had fun with her even avoiding the Condemn playstyle, but with these changes I dont think she will even really be a viable pick, and certainly has no reason to play her over the much better Dredge other then having the coolness factor of playing Sadako
Oh and that Hangmans trick rework is straight up a nerf, a drastic nerf, I dont know what they were thinking
