All my lobbies as killer are like this :)

Yes, if i loose to those teams 5 or 6 times, then i get one trial with potatoes. It is a terrible trial aswell and totally unengaging.
DbD trials are of really low quality tbh, especially when you are good at the game cause then you have 2 types of trials : the one you stomp (rarely) and the one you can't win against unless you sweat as if your life depended of this trial's outcome (and still, even with sweating you will eventually loose).

Just wanted to play killer with Pinhead, tried 3 lobbies, all lobbies with 1 medkit + 2 toolboxes and maybe SWFs, i left and closed the game, cannot bear that ######### anymore

This is something the community should not forget.
3 -
It seems they already have, or simply weren’t playing when queues took forever.
0 -
The long queue times existed only with the MMR system, remove that garbage feature and go back to ranks already...
0 -
That’s simply not true. Long queues were most definitely a thing before MMR
2 -
Lithe is not a meta perk. Its good but not meta. Windows yes
2 -
Hmmmm, agreed. Matchmaking needs to be better, I think step one is to reduce lobby dodging
5 -
What flaws did they exploit exactly? Never mind…. Survivors doing anything except standing still waiting to be hooked is an exploit to you….
2 -
As Pulsa said, you're off meta with low rarity addon, against a team with heavily invested in items, you would be able to win the match if you use higher rarity addon and/or they dont invest in items. It seems that you didnt tunnel a survivor off the match, where you have alot of BP yourself.
I assume both side have equal skill. Its just their side try harder than you, which certainly they should win. I believe you would easily win the match if you invested more on addon and they didnt.
1 -
Honestly, Killers shouldn't be able to see survivors at all before a match. How is it fair that the killer gets to see the survivors and their prestiges and items but they cant see anything until they are already in the match.
As much as you like seeing if you will be matched against a comp teams and "send them back to the 10 minute queue" by dodging, there are many survivors that would like to know if there are about to face a 8k hour nurse/blight when they do not want to play as a tournament.
3 -
If the majority of your games are like this then I would suggest switching up your build, especially Face the Darkness. That perks is useless even in a build built around it.

Without a video showing your game, there's no advice we can give.

Actually fix matchmaking? ❌
Force people to go against a full toolbox prestige 100 SWF where one player has triple the amount of hours you have? ✅
2 -
You havent brought a cake? And still complain smh
3 -
Dbd has no problem forcing four 200-1000h solo survivors to be slaughtered against a 8000h nurse so what's the problem?
6 -
Matchmaking is the problem...💀 Just because I gave a killer example doesn't mean it doesn't happen to survivors lmao.
1 -
Yes, matchmaking is the problem and it should be fixed.
Said that, no matchmaking change will mean anything if the killer has the option to quit and requeue whenever they want as many times as he/she wants.
I say either let killers AND survivors see each other before the match but without allowing them to change perks/addons/items
or do not let any info out at all and when you queue you go straight to the match
3 -
The first step is to reduce lobby dodging.
How to do that?
Hide Prestige, names and profiles. Survivors don't see the Killer, Killers don't see the Survivors.
Once we reduce or limit lobby dodging, we can see how well the system does when people aren't purposefully ######### it up. It will probably still be bad, as my faith in BHVR's matchmaker is...not high, but it'll give us a better place to start.
12 -
You can't be that good if you're losing to experienced survivors all the time.
Plenty of people that easily win 80+% of their games that aren't streamers and don't seem to have problems facing SWF or experienced survivors. These players aren't playing against inexperienced survivors either because it's so easy to reach the MMR cap and you'll get lumped with very good survivors even if you win like 20 games.
1 -
Or you could just remove the ability to cancel out of a game once it's locked in. Treat it the same as a DC and add a time penalty if you remove yourself. Add in pre-match accept button to ensure players are ready to commit to the match so if they have some real life issue they can just reject the game.
Give it a timer of like 45 seconds and reduce the 1 minute match start to like 30 seconds since everyone has accepted the match and is ready to go. It might even help remove the afkers at the beginning of the match.
1 -
Or how about BHVR show some bottle and reveal everyone’s MMR in the lobby. Then we can truly see how balanced matchmaking is.
1 -
Maybe after the game, but that's clearly going to increase lobby dodging from EVERYONE.
1 -
Not if the system works right? Oh wait…
It’s gone on long enough now, no matter what anyone says this game is moving further and further away from a casual experience and it is definitely not a party game. Some form of rank/grading needs to be visible, even if it is just post match.
0 -
Even if the system worked right, do you really think people wouldn't just lobby shop until they get lobbies they deem acceptable?
There's been plenty of people even here on the Forums who've said they do.
6 -
Wh... what? As has been discussed before, what would that prove? Everything would remain as is, except people can more efficiently lobby shop. No thanks.
This is a much better idea. Though I feel still moot. If i lose/win, and see everyones mmr, either I say "Man they were much higher than me, thats why I lost" or "Man I kicked their butts hard.. oh, their mmr is crap."
There's no good from either imo. Play the game, learn from each match, and hit ready again. Meh!
2 -
I should have said I agree about hiding prestige in the pre game lobby, but post game that info along with some form of MMR ranking/grade should be visible imo.

The good comes from the developers being encouraged to actually come up with a better matchmaking system. In contrast to someone like you yourself who tries to take the good from a bad match, there are going to be many more players who are discouraged by bad matchmaking. I’ve seen it with many friends of mine, the game throws them into lobbies far beyond their skill level far too soon. And this does not encourage people to keep playing. It should be a gradual learning curve. Right now you’re basically parachuted into the war zone.
The examples you give also cite why matchmaking is so bad. It shouldn’t be a case of “man I destroyed them” or “man I got stomped”. It should be close matches with both sides able to express skill and make mistakes. I fail to see what you can learn from sub 5 minute games on either side- these games, where one side stomps the other, should simply not be happening.
1 -
I... actually agree with most of this! :D
Matches should be one side stomping the other. Naturally... its gonna happen from time to time. But a lot of people, Im guessing, have this happen often?
I've have a few games in a row that i simply get tunneled or downed due to ######### circumstances. But never enough to forum post about it. Hopefully things clear up for OP and et al.
0 -
We have 1 image on screen, we have no other context, what map what circumstances etc, you could have played terribly or really well, we don't know.
2 -
I don’t understand how so many people on these forums don’t understand that when they consistently dodge every lobby they don’t want to play, they’re actively hampering the MMR system they are constantly complaining about.
4 -
So you're looking for easier games?
4 -
Nightlight aren’t official stats, usage doesnt make it a meta perk anyway unbreakable is a meta perk and that one isnt used as often while being better. Lithe wasnt a meta before and not now. Its just a good A tier perk
2 -
No, you just don’t want to lose. You can lobby dodge all you want but at least be truthful about why you do it. You can’t see MMR so you don’t know how skilled a lobby is when you dodge it. Being high prestige or P100 has nothing to do with skill. I’ve played with and against more P100s who quit after first chase than actual good players.
5 -
You have some program to other people's MMR?
3 -
It's basically a 99% sprint burst and many call it the best exhaustion perk in the game. What people consider meta is subjective.
0 -
I’ve never heard anyone call lithe the best exhaustion perk in the game before
3 -
No, you cannot. You may very well be the same MMR. You literally don't know and to suggest anything else is outright a lie.
8 -
“ many call it the best exhaustion perk in the game” said no one.
7 -
It was overshadowed badly by dead hard. If it isn't the best then what is? Sprint burst is a free perk but more people run Lithe so what's happening there?
0 -
My friend did. It's fine, everyone learns something new every day.
0 -
Sprint burst is harder to use, doesn’t mean it’s worse. Lithe is also a free perk, Feng isn’t DLC
4 -
No terrormisu, deserved 0k.
0 -
Play blight, use c33, adren vial, pop, pain res, corrupt, no way out, map offering, proxy camp in the middle of a 3 gen, tunnel, etc.
1 -
Not sure if you noticed this was a potential swf before or after the match. If you did know before the game, switching your build might have helped even the odds a bit.
Regardless, this team came to do M1 simulator and leave ASAP, might have been a BP farm team
0 -
You need to purchase her though. If people decide to purchase Feng for Lithe instead of 'learning' how to use Sprint Burst doesn't that say something...?
0 -
She’s free with the special edition of the game which is the base version of the game on consoles. A majority of people that play the game do not have to purchase her. PC is the only platform where special edition is not the base version of the game.
And once again, no, Feng is the most popular survivor in the game for a multitude of reasons and lithe is definitely not the top one. People love her design and Meg has a big negative stereotype in the community.
Sprint burst is not only more versatile, but it can be used anywhere. It turns dead zones into safe areas, it can be used mid chase if you 99 it, it can be used to get pallet and flashlight saves like background player, there are no pre-requisites to using the perk. You mentioned earlier that lithe is like a 99 sprint burst (which I don’t think is true due to needing a window and any killer that knows you have it will dart for windows before you do ) but sprint burst when used correctly is literally always like this.
Poll a majority of the community or ask / watch content creators and they’ll more than likely tell you Lithe is the third best exhaustion perk behind adrenaline and sprint burst.

What kind of a person thinks they can just demand answers from specific developers?
1 -
That part cracked me up. Not just a response from BHVR, specifically need the lead game designer. If it actually worked I knew how I would be starting every single one of my posts from here on out.
