Will DC penalty be removed now that bots are joining?

Im usually on board with things you post. But I can't find any logic in this. Can you elaborate?
DCing is still not good behaviour and will still be an issue. Bots replacing isnt' supposed to be a 'Ok, you can dc now, its okay.'
Or maybe it is. Maybe Im looking at this wrong.
I find this really baffling. You dont want DC time limits to be too long? Why?
Oh there's the reason. You dont want people locked out from 'playing the game' when they DC.
As it were, they were playing the game. They decided to DC. This ruins the game for everyone else, yes even Killer.
DC's can rot in penalty hell imo. Sorry to those who have legitimate connection issues.
Also, @Volcz , I mean no disrespect. Just trying to word it so my point is understood. I simply can't find the logic here.

Please can you relay this to the team that there should be a rejoin feature by pressing Rejoin match (the button to replace the ready button). There are people with inconsistent connections who still want to play but can't because where they live may be an issue to them. This would also be beneficial for players that need a moment to calm down after rage quitting which would mean people would give up less. Giving a 3-5 minute window after disconnecting to return would be beneficial regardless of who disconnects and for what reason. Should they not return within that time, they get the penalty.

Then the bot takes over, is downed anyway, and survivor comes back on a hook. I would hope anyway

That would simply be a side effect of DCing, purposefully or not. Getting back into the game isnt an option right now. Anything that allows it would be a boon to the game imo. But your situation is just a result of the state of the game. Coming back on hook would suck, but at least you came back. Just my view.
Now Im really wondering how this would go with the community... hmmm.

If Apex of all games is able to do it, so can dbd. I just wanna have the opportunity to not get dragged down by my cursed ass internet refusing to let me play one of my favourite games.

That would be a problem now.
With bots, that's no longer an issue, their bot will get downed, and they'll rejoin on the hook or whever that bot is later in the game.

DC penalties already aren't massive unless you DC more than twice per day.
