How does cross progression work for multiple instances of an item
3 questions:
- if i have the SAME cosmetic or character on two different platforms, will i get a reimbursement of auric cells / iridescent shards? or will i get a seperate reward (eg iri shards instead of auric cells, a unique cosmetic or a seperate token for a free character or cosmetic)? or will nothing happen atall? (presuming i bought said character and it wasnt earned via the rift for example)
- Will account level, iridescent shards, items and addons, prestige levels and bloodpoints, be added together, or will the greater value be chosen
- With the stranger things content be given to my account if one platform has it and the other doesnt? if so will unique parts to that license (eg the perk icons) be changed on my account or will no change occur

How is the synchronisations of accounts handled?
It's a combination of summed values and highest values. Items with a level are merged by taking the highest level from all linked accounts; items which can be counted are merged by taking the total number of items across all linked accounts.
Virtual Currency, why are my Auric Cells not the same on every platform?
Auric Cells are exclusive to the platform they were purchased on, except for those you earned in-game ie rift progression.
I purchased the same items on more than one platform, will I receive a refund for the duplicate content once my accounts merge?
No, given the amount of different ways players can access content in our game, we cannot accurately determine how to credit players.

My understanding is that stranger things content as long as you own it on one account will be treated the exact same as every other dlc. Platform exclusive content for example would be codes for original customization options that were mainly used in 2016-2017.

They do account merges but not full on cross progression.

Also a very important part, this is ONLY available for merging Steam and Epic Games Store. You CANNOT merge console and PC.

They added PlayStation as an account you can link on the website, but people say it doesn’t work yet, I didn’t see any sort of announcement for that either which is weird

I wasn’t aware of being able to link PlayStation. Don’t know when they added that.
The FAQ on their website says that you can only merge Steam and Epic and in the Reddit AMA last month they said they are having difficulty getting the option for console to PC so I don’t think you can merge PS and PC still.
