PlayStation linking?

I went onto my BHVR account and saw that you could link your PlayStation account and I was shocked. I linked it instantly and it worked, even saw my PlayStation username on there. If I managed to link it, clearly that means something is brewing, right? Right?
I'm really hopeful it's one step forward to cross-progression!

It's weird there was no announcement about such a big thing. Maybe they are trying to make the Xbox linking work?
