Does anyone else have this crash? EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000010
My error report is at the bottom.
I can't go a game online without it crashing. I am not sure why my game is crashing, only Dead by Daylight crashes, I can play other games with no issues. I also record this game for youtube and need this figured out so any help would be awesome. This issue started after I reinstalled Windows, I usually solved it by downclocking my GPUs VRAM but when that was happening it was for every game crashing, not just Dead by Daylight.
I'm not completely sure what is going on and can't find anything on the forums or on youtube. I've tried going into the steamapps folder of DBD and reinstalling easyanticheat. I've also tried downclocking my gpu to no avail. I'm really not sure what this issue is and can't find an answer.

Try validating your game files if on steam, disabling any overlays like Discord, or reinstalling again after those steps and validating the anti cheat (which is a different step than validating game files)

Bro this is happening to me for the past 2-3 weeks im on a 24 hour ban now, doesn't matter if its steam or epic i use always crashing mid game with this, please lmk if you find a fix, and ill tell you aswell.

Got the same issue, had this crash report plus multiple other crashes today, I must have had ~1h of unjustified matchmaking lock thx to the game constantly crashing

First 4 are directX graphics interface related then you've got 2 Nvidia drivers. Gonna guess it's something wrong with your video drivers or Nvidia settings, have you been changing the game settings directly through the Nvidia control panel recently? I'd suggest doing a clean graphic driver install and restoring any settings in the Nvidia control panel for DBD back to default and see if that stops the crashing.

You should post this in the bug report section, along with the version of the game you are using and, maybe, a full dxdiag output.
The stack trace along with the detailed information of your computer should be invaluable to track the issue.

I had an access violation and it was because of bad ram. I would say you should go and download HCI memtest and do multiple ones to use all ram and see if there are any errors.

A little late to the party but i had the exact same error code. Every time the game was about to start it would crash my game. After many hours of messing around with files and restarts. I found it to be that simply the challenge I had selected on Tome 7 I believe crashed my game. The challenge that gives you 4 random perks. Figured id share

If i select that challenge to this day, it still crashes my game and its been a few weeks and updates.

Yes I got the error, like @shottyenergy7 said the problem is caused by a tome challenge. Just deselect it, and the game should playable.
