I doubt bots "see" totems at all.

Bots also have permanent wall hacks so you can't mindgame them like a real person.

It may also be the equivalent of the bot knowing the spawn spots or memorising if someone had passed there before.
With bots, they react to code and the mechanics, rather than "seeing" what we do. Perhaps the code makes totems or mind-gaming tiles easier for a bot? Maybe, after a fair amount of data gathered, they might be able to fine-tune the bots.
