Pallet density of Gideon Meat Plant, The Game
I played a 115% movespeed killer with Enduring, Spirit Fury, Brutal Strength, and Fire Up.
I got Spirit Fury value 4 times, and 3 of those resulted in no follow-up hit because there was another pallet immediately nearby.
I got 2 hooks before they all escaped.
I was robbed of full EndFury value more times than I got hooks.
This map is perfectly balanced...

A LOT of pallets on The Game aren’t very safe at all.

An unsafe pallet is still pretty good when there are multiple of them in close proximity. Unsafe vs. Safe only matters if the goal is to get high value outta the loop, but if your goal is just to put something between yourself and killer it is literally all the same. Gideon's kind of a pathing nightmare on top of having a ton of pallets regardless of their strength.
They could stand to downtune the pallet budget a tiny bit.

The amount of unsafe pallets on The Game I can probably count on 1 hand. The amount of safe pallets however? That number is way higher.
A pallet where you can stand, wait and react with perfect vision on the killer (like 90% of these pallets) is safe.

A FEW of pallets on The Game aren't very safe at all.

Yeah most the pallets on that map are safe and they’re extremely numerous. To add to that most of them are low wall loops, meaning zero potential for mind games. They’re literally just time wasters.

the map is just hit & run simulator+3 gens. if you try to chase people on this map as m1 killer, you won't get any hooks. the ability to 3 gen and hit & run is only thing that makes this map somewhat playable on killer. as a result, med-kits and strong healing perks like old COH are really potent on the map due to how killer has to play to win.

Gideon is one of my favourite maps for killer for how small it is and how easy is to force survivors to play where I want them to be.
But I guess if you are playing weak killers, pallets can be problem even how unsafe most of them are?
