Seems after update patch playing killer become so hard. I try every killer but always matchmaking with experience survivor and seldom get a 2K or 4K now, even doesnt get any survivor.
Well. This is your reason for removing killer player again BHVR

I swear a lot of you would not survive back in the way early days of DBD when infinites were a thing. Killer is so easy these days while solo survivor is just miserable. What else do you want?
19 -
No it's not, it's much easier now
3 -
yes, but you completely ignore all the killer bonuses that were in those days, which is only worth 7 Blink nurse with memento after 1 hook
now it's much easier for survivors with their mft + free bt and hud to play

I was around before object got its last nerf. That was probably the most oppressive perk I’ve ever dealt with. Old DS + UB combo was also up there. Survivor meta now has nothing like any of these.
2 -
Just because things were worse a few years ago doesn’t mean they are fine now.
4 -
Are things fine for survivor?
3 -
They never will be as long as survivors hinder other survivors, but their QoL is in a pretty good spot right now.
3 -
How do survivors hinder one another with camping & tunneling? The ability to play the game seems like it would have an enormous influence on QoL.
3 -
Sorry, I should have specified it'll be even better with the anti-camp mechanic coming soon. That said, Quality of Life is referring to adjustments that improve ease of use, I.E the hud update, off hook BT base, removing hook grabs, etc.

people don't play perfectly.
0 -
Absolutely. People on this forum are blinded by losing, due to themselves or teammates. The game can’t be balanced around people who don’t know how to play. Survivor being a team thing means that your team will sometimes screw you over. I play solo q and with a friend and survivor is absolute easy mode.

What part of killer is difficult outside of high MMR exactly?
1 -
Game sense, dealing with god loops and main structures, tracking, knowing when to leave hook, etc… I don’t think playing killer is super hard, but it’s rocket science compared to survivor gameplay.
6 -
While thats true, that does't make it any better in todays meta. Even after a very good and fast first chase 3 gens can easily pop, and while thats not the end of the trial, its already extremely disheartening and puts a lot of pressure on the killer. Both sides skills have tremendously increased since the early days of DBD, due to meta pressure (6.1, no DH, Eruption-OverCOB-meta, MFT+Hope) and no matter how much you might incentivice certain playstyles, you can't make the playerbase unlearn their skills.
Now basically all killers know to look for a 3gen situation, while basically all survivors split up and both increase the stress and tension in-game, while also leading to very short of brutal games, with one side or the other snowballing out of control pretty early.

Everything you said could be applied to Survivor as well though even knowing when to hove/leave a hook. Survivors also have to worry about their teammates wasting one-time resources and efficiency which is totally out of their control, which is why solo-queue sucks.
I would honestly say killer is easy until you hit the bracket where each individual on the Survivor side is very good, then it is a true 4v1 that's immensely stressful. But games/swfs like that are extremely rare and usually over in < 5 minutes, so who cares.
Difficulty Tierlist (imo):
Comp/High-MMR Killer
Comp/High-MMR Survivor/SWF
Solo-queue
Mid/Low MMR Killer
Mid/Low MMR SWF

I could not disagree more about the SWF “not mattering.” The killer player should never be in a position that’s unwinnable, regardless of how common the scenario is. By the same token, the game shouldn’t be catered towards people who can’t be bothered to learn. People like that should get better or stop playing.
3 -
Its not unwinnable though? Killers win tournaments and even teams like Eternal has lost before. I simply said who cares because I assume most Killer players would not be equipped to deal with a really good SWF, which makes sense.
You can't ignore casuals if you want a game to thrive, both upper and lower ends need to be healthy and feel valued.
2 -
Wrong. Games that outsell DBD manage to balance around better players while still selling to casuals.
3 -
League of Legends has some of the most aggressive balancing I've seen and they still nerf things that only are affecting the lower-end of solo-queue, a direct balance around casuals.
2 -
Everyone seems to have this misconception games can't be balanced for multiple skill levels.
2 -
Top down balancing works. Perks don’t matter when a survivor can’t run a tile; they will die regardless.
3 -
Just play Sadako and condemn people.

Do you stream or record your games otherwise? I’d love to see your solo queue games. Maybe I could learn something.

pretty sure the vault fix is literally making a lot of people get used to the new timing on fast vaults if you guys didnt know
- Fixed an issue that caused the fast Vaults to have the same vaulting distance as the Slow and Medium Vaults.
basically hits on windows were more generous than intended when fast vaulting because of how closer the survivor hitbox was to the windows after fast vaulting.
(NO DOESNT MEAN ITS GONNA FIX BS HITS ON LAGGY KILLERS ,BUT IT HELPS A BIT)more noticiable on windows with higher height.

Really? And right before this patch you were regularly getting 3ks and 4ks?
Because people say this after literally every single major patch.
1 -
Maybe you're not good.
1 -
Yes they existed, but most Survivor didnt know them or simply hides most of the time. Yes if these old infinites would come back in the dbd today. The game would be unplayable. Old dbd was basicly another game. It was hide and seek not Survivor loop Killer.
1 -
True as Survivor you just need to have in mind what gens need to be done and where you can run next.

You cant compair these games LoL is very easy to Balance compair to dbd. Lol is 5v5 dbd is 1v4
