How to enjoy survivor?

I’m purely a killer main, but honestly I feel like it makes more sense for me to move to the survivor side. Any tips on how to consistently have fun on survivor.

I don’t have any friends so Solo Q is the only way I can go.

I know how to play survivor I just get bored sitting on gens.

Everyone gets something different out of the game depending on their expectations. I hold no expectations, so I get no disappointments. As survivor, if you expect to escape consistently you'll likely be disappointed. If you expect competent team mates, you'll likely be disappointed. If you haven't played survivor before then you'll have plenty of survivor tome challenges to get through, so I'd focus on those. It's what I do as it gives you a sense of accomplishing something, even if you die. You don't need to throw the game to get them done either as most you'll get naturally as you play.

    Consistent fun?

Plot Twist. When the match gets unfun, use Plot Twist and hold Sprint to deny being picked up. Either you bleed out over 4 minutes, or the killer hooks you, survivors unhook you, and you Plot Twist again until you're sacrificed / bleed out.

The sooner you die, the sooner you can move on to fun matches again.

Not saying you do this if you're caught first or someone accidentally kites the killer into you. I'm saying 1 perk slot in case it's going to be an hour-long Knight/Skull Merchant match or Nurse/Blight stomp.

I am also a Killer main and I have to say I mostly have more fun as Survivor. As stupid as it sounds. The reson is as Killer I need to sweat mutch more and Killer is very stressfull. As Survivor I can relax while doing a gen. I dont see it as borring. I use the time on the gens to think whats going on in the round. By thinking of the Positions of the other Survivors I can say what pallets got dropped, which gens I need to focus etc. This helps when I get chased later, because I can run him longer and at better spots. Also what would you do instead of gens. Your mate try to get time for you to do gens, to get progress. Yes you could run behind the killer try to get chased, but this is just stupid, because 1. You dont get Progress in the round. 2. Someone needs to do gens. 3. You wouldnt want, that someone steals the chase from you if you get chased. 4. Most likely you are going to interupt the concentration of your mate.

Thats the long answer. The short one is switch your Perks and bring your team forward.

Have Fun and if you play against me. Dont loop me to well. 😁

I play both roles, but I lean more on survivor. I play more survivor. I have a lot of fun as survivor cause I try to take the killer on what I like to call a world tour. That's when I attempt to loop a killer across the map,and get my teammates to pop multiple gens while on a world tour with the killer. I just find it fun to be in chase with the killer, and those oh so satisfying pallet stuns on there face. I don't have friends either who play this I'm solo.

    Consistent fun as survivor?

Well, the first is playing in a group, but if you can't.

Try to just improove at looping and make stupid challenges to yourself, nothing feels better then being the reason the killer couldn't get a 4K, even if you die in the process.

And be ready for unfun matches, there is nothing you can do if a killer decides to make your expirience miserable, either you get the mental strength to deal with it or just try and make the expirience end as fast as possible (if you what i mean).
