how do i counter sadako?
not sure about y'all but before she wasn't this..."fast" at killing survivors. literally every player that plays her will keep spamming her tv teleporting, increasing our level until we get that red circle around our icons & then suddenly getting moried/insta-killed by her. yes, carrying tapes at the start do work but then she hits you and you immediately lose it; and when you do try to take a new tape, she suddenly teleports right to the tv that you're trying to take a tape from, making it impossible to do anything. and then she just chases you until you're already at the "death" level. suggestions? as for me, she's really boring since it's just "run back and forth, then the same cycle over again". how does she even know when i'm trying to take a tape and then immediately teleports right to me?

I know it wastes time, but if you can't find an active TV because she's spamming them then hang around one until it switches on and then immediately grab the tape. You're basically trying to beat her, and unfortunately your team mates, to the TV. The TVs have pretty much become the main objective in some of these Onryo games.

just take the tape and destroy this m1 killer, the main problem of sadako is your teammates
but if they do not ignore the power of the killer, then you will easily win

you're not wrong about the teammate part; i'm a soloq player and most of the randoms that i play with always die within the first 3+ minutes; they probably don't even know what a tape is, or they just throw the match right from the start. but, as said, taking the tape most of the time doesn't work since "carrying tapes at the start do work but then she hits you and you immediately lose it; and when you do try to take a new tape, she suddenly teleports right to the tv that you're trying to take a tape from". i wish she at least wouldn't know when & where you're trying to take a tape.

Don't at any costs watch the tape. then no phone call and no sadako :)
your welcome.

Don't take a tape, just wait for the teleport spam to fill your condemned meter and then get the killer's attention so you can go next.

So a lost lost situatuon undertand broken killer

- Try to go for tapes that are near completed generators, I usually tend to teleport to TVs near generators because that is usually where survivors go to since it disables her power for quite a while, it's really predictable
- Avoid beeing seen by her, the reason she is teleporting to the TV you were going to grab a tape from is most probably because she catched a glimpse of your movements and correctly read you were going to grab a tape from there
- If you are holding a tape and desperately want to avoid getting condemned, hide inside a locker before she can hit you. You don't gain stacks if you get grabbed in a locker
- Run anti-aura perks. I can't speak for every Sadako but my builds usually 2-3 info perks (with one chase perk) because it allows me to make better plays and cut survivors off before they can retrieve the tapes. When survivors run distortion it really ######### me over.
- Stick to complicated loops if possible, it doesn't really matter how good the Sadako you are going against is, she has basically zero tools to combat looping especially now that she doesn't gain bloodlust while demanifested.

They're probably running that comb add on that notify them of a tape being taken. Don't try to stun a sadako who is demanifested. The little portrait get a little static similar to doctor whenever you take a tape too.

pick casette at the game start and learn to loop. You won't perform much better against any other killer then Onryo if m1 killer hits you so easily.

just get the tape as early as possible. the moment the tv is turned on, get the tape.
in the end sadako is normal m1 killer if you get the tape early.
the only main reason why my solo experience with sadako is a bit annoying because my teammate often ignore the tapes until they only need 1 more stack to be fully condemned.

They need to make her balanced out. The old tvs were too easy and now it’s been too challenging. I think they need to make it where survivors can see the TVs that are on within a certain meter range and increase the higher it fills. Just my opinion though!
