they nerfed dead hard
this game is gross
they keep changing & rechanging and reworking and changing and editing and FIXING what already works perfectly
no integrity, always changing the original stuff
i hope they lose tons of players, they dont respect their own game and they are always changing what already works perfectly
they also nerfed hex no one escapes death, cuz why not, lets fix whats already perfect and degrade stuff

Skill Issue, old Dead Hard was a mistake of game design and should have never been in the game in the first place

"no integrity, always changing the original stuff"
Hmm its almost as if the "original stuff" was unbalanced

dead hard was so cool
and hex no one escapes death is much weaker now, so sad

adding new stuff = good
rechanging, degrading, making cool stuff inferior and turning it into garbage = bad

It's really not. Good survivors would find it immediately even before its "nerf", and now you know exactly where survivors are going to be headed while they're all Exposed and vulnerable.
A few seconds after survivors know it's there (preferably after securing a hook), go patrol the hex totem for an easy kill.

60% pickrate of one perk in a game where you have a good hundred means it should be nerfed
the only thing that is wrong about this nerf is how long BHVR waited to do it

Do you feel the same way about Moris, because they were changed from requiring no hooks, to requiring 1 hook, to requiring 2 hooks?
Almost like if we had the original Moris in the game, it wouldn't be a very fun to game.

I agree, but I do think we need to continue pointing out how long fixes take. Old DH was in the game for, what... 6 years? It took them six rotations around the sun to fix this one perk.
Heck, Myers's tombstone add-ons, relics of a DBD that hasn't existed for at least three or four years, are still unchanged.
I'm not arguing that people complain mindlessly, but the devs also aren't making important changes nearly as fast as they should be.

People respond about 5 times stronger to losing something than gaining something.
An overpowered strong perk that gets hard nerfed will cause people to rage their ass off and curse the dev team into the fiery pits of Hades for months... such as people complaining about Dead Hard.
An underpowered weak perk that gets monster buffed by the same degree will cause people to smile and laugh, but barely say a positive word about it... such as people happy about the buffs to Buckle Up.
