So how is the next tome gonna work?

I know we literally just started the End Transmission tome but with the next chapter Alien are they actually gonna get a tome? To date the only licensed characters with tome stories are Bill and the Saw characters so is tome 17 gonna be like how it used to be with two random original characters or do you think BHVR got permissions to make stories for Ripley and Xeno?

    There are only 2 options based off of what the devs said either:

    A. The license holders said yes and Alien will be the next tome

    B. The license holders said no and original characters will be the next tome

    Only time can tell which of these 2 things actually happened with the Alien license. Part of me wants to say they didn't get the rights for a tome in particular possibly on purpose because what the heck are you going to do for a Xenomorph story? However like I said, only time will tell.

    There's two options

    We have an Alien tome for both the Survivor and Killer

    Or we don't have an Alien tome but we still get Rift Cosmetics, Similar to the current tome which has Nicolas Rift cosmetics but the House of Akham story in the tome could be a potential Nicolas story

    Ghostface also got a tome, but hes a special case.

    if the License Holder say yes we are going to get a Alien Tome

    if not we are going to get a Original Tome there are still some Original Killers who didnt got some like Dredge, Artist, Deathslinger

    It'll be old original characters that haven't gotten a tome yet, based on the way this change was talked about at the time.

    Unless the Alien license holders agreed to a licensed tome, anyway. Then it could be that. Default assumption though should be that it'll be an original character getting the tome imo

    It could also be a 2nd Saw tome. Lionsgate has shown how generous they are to Dead by Daylight, so I imagine at the very least we'll get a new outfit for The Pig that is her outfit from Saw X, if not a full Tome.
