Do you think we will get another LGBT+ character?
Question is on title.
Next 2 chapters are licensed. BHVR has no controls on them.
But after that, we will get one survivor paragraph and one full chapter. They both are most likely original content. Do you think BHVR will add another LGBT+ character in these chapters?

But seriously, this game has some really impressive representation and I'd like to see that continue.

I'd like to think that we get another soon. Either that or one of the current survivors gets new lore confirming their sexuality.
Once it isn't rushed and extremely stereotypical, I don't mind however.

I just don't think we will get legendary characters for Alien, i think it will be Halloween, NOES'ish type chapter.
They will release characters, if we are lucky maybe one alternative costumes for characters and that's all.
I hope i am wrong!

I dont think we will due to the nature of the game. As a member of the LGBT+ community, I'm not too bothered if we don't personally. Characters pesonal lives don't come into DBD at all for the most part. Ive been playing DBD aince 2017 and ive never really bothered with any of the in depth character lore because it just isnt necessary to play the game. AFAIK Felix is the only one who has a wife and child in Canon. There's nothing stopping your Vittorio being gay or your Jane being lesbian or your Nea being non binary - especially with all the cosmetics available. If DBD were a narrative focused game then I'd be more enthusiastic about it. But you're largely running around a trial with no story to it.

100% sure that there will be other characters in the future. The only question is the "when".
And IMO they did a good Job with David, so I dont mind if they take their time with another character (either already one in the game or completely new), as long as it is a fleshed-out character and you know they put time and effort into it.

At some point? Most definitely.
I just hope they don't rush these things but take the time to write good characters. Because rushing these things almost always ends in a disaster and looks disrespectful.

For me, they should make next LGBT+ character like Felix and Nurse. Just mention their relationship in their default lore. So we will know this character is trans or they have homo relationship.
With this way it won't feel rushed. And they can focus on character's lore more.

They should release a Yui tome that reveals a girlfriend, to no fanfare like David, then release a new non-binary/agender character with ungendered pronouns so we can all argue as to whether they're male or female or just a human bieng.

As long as they do it in a responsible and sensitive way, I don't care too much how they handle it. Although I think using existing characters is not always the best way to do it. You saw how many people cared about David and how suddenly there were people being alienated from this character. And the same would happen, if they decided to clarify that Yui was straight.
Maybe it wouldn't be that much of an issue. But I'd rather them not risking it and getting tons of backlash for doing something with the best intentions but instead focussing on new characters to be safe.

Yeah, David's popularity dropped so badly, a lot people abandoned him.
David was strong, rough and masculine guy. So much people mained him for that. Revealing him as gay made a lot people leave him but it was message tho: Anyone can be gay, lesbian or non-binary. Looking is meaning nothing.
But i agree with you. I also want next LGBT+ character from new chapters. But please with good lore, not fan service story.

Meh. Their lost. If there are actually homophobes that stopped playing david because of his sexuality, it is their lost. I believe they did very with his story. It even made a huge impact on people to be brave enough to come out or open up about their sexuality in real life. And the devs noticed that through numerous posts. He may have lost some players, but he gained some. And i still believe he's still used alot given the fact that he's still a base character.

Yeah, devs did good job with David's second tome but i don't see David so much anymore. He was more popular.
His popularity dropped for sure. But i don't think the only reason is his second tome. We got very decent male survivors lately (Gabriel, Vittorio and Renato). And David is not getting costumes anymore.
So maybe some people left him cuz his sexuality but a lot people left him for new male survivors as well. And some people are not playing him because he is not getting new costumes.

I still see davids. But you are right. Not as much. But i believe its because he's not getting new skins. Its going on nearly 8 months of no new skins for him. That's normal. If it was anyone else, their playerbase would decline and go to the survivors who are getting new skins.
And as i said many times before. Im a david main. But i have been playing other survivors a bit more due to the fact that they are getting new skins and of course new characters ive been trying out. If devs neglect a character they shouldnt be surprised their pickrate will go down.
But i would be extremely dissapointed if devs decided to not give him skins because of his sexuality reveal bringing down his usage. Its like saying, you know what, lets listen to the ppl who dislike lgbt characters and neglect them. And if that was the case, i would want them to never reveal another lgbt character. Because they would do the same to that character most likely
