this will forever be etched into me, my boyfriend smiled for the first time, or somewhat of a genuine smile, me and my bf usually enjoy dbd together where we both have a great time connecting and having fun. My boyfriend is naturally good-looking; and I'm not just saying that out of kindness- his appearance is genuinely striking. However, due to a past insecurity about his teeth (which have some stains and lines from not having a toothbrush during 2 ish years) he's been quite self-conscious about smiling. This has been his only insecurity, which greatly affects how badly hes insecure about it

He usually hides his smiles and I can't recall a single instance of him fully smiling without covering his mouth with his hand. During one of our gaming matches we encountered a mid huntress in the game. Long story short- we managed to make it to the endgame only to find out that the killer was using noed… Teammates cleansed the perk and left, but dealing with a hatchet camping huntress proved to be impossible to win against. Despite my best efforts to save him(i just accepted the trade, didnt even try to fight back 😭 ) I ended up getting hit by a hatchet and was abt to be traded 😞

Then, something incredible happened. My boyfriend executed an astonishing flashlight save at a near-impossible angle (not even i could hit it 😭). we sprinted towards the exit gates. And amazied i used the dead perk dead hard to take a hit, we were both laughing and having a great time when we made it to the exit gates. I attempted to repeatedly blind the killer, not realizing that it was causing my mending progress to rapidly decrease. we know how this goes. I dont mend in time and get knocked, and in that moment, both of us burst into genuine tears. Unfortunately he left me behind in the game, but what struck me was the HUGEEE smile on his face. It made me incredibly happy to witness such a heartfelt mood he gave and I'm grateful to have him as my boyfriend.

yeah, half the time my posts are just complaining about the game, but this one means the most to me
