Vault Situation Explained?
I feel like there are different aspects to this Vault Situation and they all got mixed up because these 4 things happened all at the same time:
- Male survivors leaping further compared to female survivors.
- Survivors seeming invincible even when it looks like you hit them.
- Survivors' vaulting speed looking weird if there'a small drop after the vault.
- Bug fix for fast vaults giving the same distance as slow/medium vaults.
The first 3 are clearly bugs and they should be fixed but they all happened because of 4.
This was suppose to be a bug fix for a bug that was introduced some time ago but these 4 factors combined made it look like the "new" vaults are busted when there wasn't suppose to be "new vaults".
It wasn't a "change" but a "bug fix" that introduced newer bugs LOL.

Uhh, I still get hit just fine when fast vaulting. I even get hit when my animation has finished after medium vault and am starting the walk animation lol, it's insane. I play female survivors so I dunno how buffed I'd feel with male survivors.
I do think it's stupid to revert it to its previous state, instead of fix it and find a middle ground.

Whenever I see people complain about vaults it somehow relates to the first 3 bugs I've listed but people took them as "The new vaults are busted now." instead of bugs that needed to be fixed.
Which created backlash and caused devs to revert the inital vault distance bug fix instead of fixing the newly introduced bugs and keeping the initial bug fix... This is all I got from this situation.

Yeah, 4th one was a bug during anniversary event.
BHVR should fix especially the 4th one and differentiate fast vault from medium/slow vault like before 7.0.0
