Talking about The Clown.
I got kicked from a PSN chat because I spoke facts about the Clown.
They were saying I was bad as Clown. I was like I win with Doc, Trickster, Skully, Knight, and everyone else. Clown is fun, but his power does absolutely nothing in the current meta.
I was like if his hinder effect lasts 2 seconds and MFT is permanent Haste while running, and 2 survivors have this as a minimum… Survivors will always reach a safe pallet to pre-drop before you run out of bottles. Forcing him to kick it, which gives them distance. Reloading also slows him down against people with haste. So if you’re not using Bleach and/or Vol his power does little. Anyone with sense will be one step ahead of Clown.
That’s when the boot came. I was laughing so hard. Because the last thing I said was you guys honestly think that The Clown is a good killer. He’s at the bottom of the pit with Trapper. 😭

I was like “good riddance”. People out here really thinking The Clown is a good killer in the “right hands”. Anything The Clown can do another killer will outperform him in every way. Especially in the right hands. 💀

If both types of bottles are used correctly you can actually even outplay really safe loops, but besides that he has no map pressure or side objectives. He is nowhere near trapper but surely in the bottom 1/3 of killers.

Clown got nerfed like crazy after his "rework". Losing his exhaustion bottles was the nail in the coffin for him.

He is a lot better than back then, before his rework he got slowed down by bottle throws, now he can even outplay some of the stronger pallets on the game.

Nope. People may know him as 'The Clown Guide Guy' after OTZ made some videos of his methods.
Though I'd be interested in this asian fellow too.

I still disagree with Arinad a lot but i'm glad there is atleast someone that gets the community to appreciate and respect Clown a lot more.

Idk I get on quite well with clown. And he has some very interesting addon builds. One I've been messing around with a lot recently is the invigoration aura read one. aura rea
I wouldn't say he's an A tier killer, and I'd imagine he gets ruined by made for this. But wouldn't say he's that weak.

This is my issue with him. Sometimes he feels okay [survivors greeding pallets, for instance, makes him pretty decent in 1v1s] but god, it sucks loading into giant maps as him and losing 2 gens for one hook and then losing another before you can even physically get there to defend it.

They don't even need to greed, you just take pallet control throw a yellow bottle at yourself, a pink one at them, go one way around, then the other way so they loose more distance, if need you throw a pink one at where the yellow was so they don't get a speed boost and you get the hit. It's rather simple. But yeah the no map control parts makes you loose gens fast, but that's quite usual in the early game to loose a Gen fast.

Based on what you're saying, you're bad as clown. The Afterpiece Tonic's effects without add-ons has a 15% Hindered Effect on Survivors within the gas which lingers for 2 seconds upon leaving the gas. If you can't catch them with that much slowdown, the problem is you.
To put this into perspective, Survivors move at 100% (4.0m/s). Clown moves at 115% (4.6m/s). Afterpiece Tonic applies a 15% hindered (0.6m/s) to survivors within its area of effect. This means survivors move at 85% (3.4m/s) movement speed. Made for This is 3% (0.12m/s) Haste while running.

Oh yeah, Cigar Box is damn addictive, but... Clown ruined by Made for This? You mean the killer who gives himself 10% Haste while giving survivors 15% Hindered (19% with Bleach)? The toughest part is the 6s Endurance you never expect because MFT users go down like anybody else.

You forgot that Bleach got slap with a nerf to boot! (Was 5% slowdown)

Clown shoun't be able to have little to any issues with MFT players if they are running Bleach. And yes, with bleach is 19%.
If you're running basekit gas then there might be a small chance of them making it to the next loop, pallet, window, ect, in my opinion.
Now, let's not forget that Rapid Brutality is around the corner, which will make Clown go from 10% haste with 5 second duration to 15 % haste, 15 Sec! (17 sec with Garnish) (This is assuming the Devs doesn't change value or decide NOT to stack with Clown's power) And if you guys want to see how that looks like, here you go!

As for Clown being next to Trapper, Nooooot really, in my opinion.
He's somewhere bottom C tier last time I checked.
But I guess people have different opinion on where he is.
