Voice acting on characters

Would you like to see Dead by Daylight have more voice acting on characters, including killers?

The funny thing about this is that the vast majority of the cast pre-Silent Hill is voiced in-house by BHVR. These speople generally speak French and English. You're never going to get an authentic Japanese-Jamaican voice for Adam that's also the original VA.

"7 minutes. 7 minutes is all I can spare to listen to your voice lines" - wesker

The most annoying part about that voiceline is that it will play when you're downed at the beginning of match. It should not play that early in a match.

I like to think that wesker always tries to leave in 7 minutes, but the entity is like "blondie, do your job".

In terms of Survivor, having more lobby voicelines for everyone would be great, in match however, i'd rather we keep it sparse between who can and who can't.

In terms of Killer, both in regards to lobby and matches, it depends entirely on the character and if it fits said character.

If feels like Ash has a tiny amount of voice lines compared to some of the later characters. I'd like them to fill that out, at least.

Yes, as long as people have the option to mute them. I personally wouldnt, but I can see how it could be annoying to some.

I think the voice-acting is already overdone, I would like less of it. The tie-in characters are one thing, Wesker and Resident Evil characters talking is understandable because we're all familiar with them having voices. Nic Cage is another thing because it's Nic Cage. But I hate Trickster's babbling, and I don't understand why the Lyra siblings and Gabriel have voice-acting, it just stands out as odd when no other DbD original survivors have it.

The only survivor I really want to see in-match voice lines for is Ash. It's clear he would have them if he released now, plus he'd have lots of fun stuff to say. Other than that I don't really care, maybe Bill could work as well or something.

It depends on the character/killer; I think it makes sense for a few, but not most. For a killer like Freddy, whose persona (at least OG persona) was like 75% smack talk, it seems wrong not to have any, and really diminishes the character.

But you wouldn't want every match to become just a cacophony of voice lines constantly going on.

I'll think certain characters should have some lines in the lobby. In-game... it felt to the fans like Isaac started to speak in Dead Space 2. So it's a tricky one, the mentioned mute option is a good idea, if they do this. Also Ash - so far he and Cage I own above the base characters. I noticed cage not always have in-game lines, except the beginning, which is good, sometimes feels randomly drop lines if you miss a check on generator or a killer grab him.
