How do you use Doctor's shock?
Hello all. I am once again asking for tips to help me learn a new killer.
I haven't played much Doc since his rework a while back, and even then I wasn't very good at killer generally so I didn't get much value out of him.
So, how do you use his shock well? I have a hard time figuring out when to use it because of the fact that it resets bloodlust.
Any tips are appreciated!

You use his regular shock to deny survivors the chance to drop palettes and vault windows.
You use his big blast mainly as a info tool and generally to keep them hovering around a decently high level of madness.
Personally I'll shock someone right as their going into a pallet or vault then do a lunge to hit them if I'm close enough. Doing this prevents them from being able to drop the pallet when they want or being able to fast vault which keeps them from making a ton of space. If done right you shouldn't need bloodlust to begin with.

I must be shocking a bit late then. When I try to do what you're describing, they usually get the vault or drop off even though they also scream.

Must not be the case. Doc is highly inconsistent, I think it is due to Ping. You can shock them and they fully scream BEFORE the vault or Pallet Drop and STILL get it.

yeah you do need to shock like 1-2 seconds early

Okay, so I'm not crazy. I was wondering why that happened.

Without an add on the shock has quite a delay and often they still get the vault or the pallet throw.
If you are on a short loop stand at the edge - some survs try camping the pallet and wait on which side you go.
You have all time to shock here and get a hit as they can´t drop. Does not work against the good survs though.
I often use the static blast with distressing and the add ons that show the auras when the madness increases + lethal pursuer. With that you have very good info where the survs are. On center of Midwich you get all survs with that.

doc's timing is weirdly specific... and ping is a #########.
you just gotta develop a feel for when it's right.
