What percentage of the game will a Xenomorph’s screen be filled with fire?
I’m guessing 20-25% of the game, especially against decent or better Survivors.

there’s only 4, they are easily avoided, and they’re only relevant when you’re on their ass already.
you’re pretending like they were everywhere, like Larry’s EMP’s. They really weren’t.

If they're a decent or better Xeno, they'll probably be alright.
Hard to say though, considering the Killer hasn't released yet.

Depends on what's changed from PTB to live.
Based on PTB versions, though, probably not that much. There are good addons for dealing with them, and they aren't that big of a deal to handle even without those addons.

I don’t think it’s going to be that bad. They seem less oppressive than EMPs and require setup time especially since survivors move slowly while carrying them.

but if they do that they wont be a victim of cyberbullying

im gonna put a turret right inside shack and basement
0 -
you know a survivor isn't dropped when you get hit with fire right? why the basement one?
1 -
bc it still gets him outa his power
0 -
so does carrying a survivor... and in theory, they would just go into a tunnel for 5 seconds.

As someone planning on running the turret breaking addon and the turret detection addon while im learning how to play? Probably not that much.
Coup seems like it will be so ridiculously good on Alien that I am assuming most of my chases will be running up to a gen with monitor, tailsmacking someone, then getting burned out of the power and whacking them with coup. You get the down, the turret is destroyed automatically, and it ends up being a timesink for survivors

Can I ask why you think coup is good on Xeno? Just wondering if I'm missing something as nothing stands out about them that would make Xeno a good coup user or at least a better coup user than your average killer.

EMPs ruined the Singularity and people were saying “just wait.” You never see him at least partly because BHVR poorly implemented a counter play that is still too strong.
3 -
Nah, even if emps were neutered people will wouldn't play singu.

EMP's really arent that bad, also Larry aint even apart of this discussion so like wyd
1 -
That’s what ruined him for me.
When did you become arbiter of what is a part of this discussion?

Decent or better survivors *should* be harder to go against. Luckily, most of the player base are average. And watching streamers play the PTB, most were quickly dealing with the flamethrowers as easily as they'd swat away flies. I'm planning to play Xeno quite a bit and the flamethrowers are a non-issue as far as I'm concerned. Hit them and keep going.

I'd personally argue you don't see Singularity played because he's really hard.
EMPs really aren't that big of a deal as they are now, after all the nerfs. Singularity just requires you to keep a lot of different things in your head while playing really fast and aggressive, on top of being really difficult to use on controller. Basically, he was never going to be popular even though he's good.
Plus, to be entirely fair, EMPs were changed from PTB to live, which is what's relevant here with Xenomorph.

They won't be everywhere, but once survivors adapt, they will always be in all the places they need to be: generators and loops.

when i reread the title

Again, there’s only 4. It would require some gigabrain predictions to put flamethrowers at every loop Xeno’s gonna be at. Also, when Xeno emerges from the tunnels, the turrets are momentarily disabled.

this wins the comment of the day award. nuff said.

You don't predict where the Xenomorph will be, you decide where you're going to run when he shows up so he has to chase you into the turret. And the turrets warn you he's coming, so he has little element of surprise to catch you before you reach it.
