Why does BHVR hate Casual Player so much?
Title says it all but let me explain.
Since this game came out I wanted to play it. I watched a lot of Youtube Videos back in the day and then, 4 years ago I finally could play it thanks to the Switch a friend gifted me. I was so happy and played a ton. (Never was a fan of PC gaming and never had a Gaming PC)
But basically since the Wesker Chapter came out the Game changed a lot for Low/Mid MMR Player.
(Not talking about High MMR because that's a whole other story!)
Tunneling and Camping increased a ton. Even when there are only 1 or not a single one Gen is done.
3 Gen is still the best Meta for most killers and impossible to break in Solo Q. (I even had a Nurse yesterday that only guarded her 3 Gen and didn't do anything else the whole match. We (Survs) all gave up after 30 minutes and just did funny stuff together till the match ended after 1 hour)
Toxic people (mainly Killer player in Low/Mid MMR) are increasing. Especially Wesker Player are the most toxic players I ever faced in all my time in DBD. Why? Because I'm a Chris Main when I play Survivor (wich I do most of the time because playing Killer is not for me. Too stressfull) and 9/10 Wesker Player find it "funny" to only Tunnel and Camp me because that's sooooooooo funny hahahahaha (Who knows Resident Evil know that Wesker and Chris are Rivals so yea...)...And I can't do anything against this harassment that's only there because I bought 1 Skin....
MMR is so f-ed up that the only Killer I get are High MMR Killer who now gets a easy 4K every match. Escaping became totally impossible in Low MMR. I escape maybe 1-2 times a week. And the only solution to have "fairer" matches are that I play the game basically as a full time job (8-10 hours a day probably) to get better. And yeah that's something I can't and also don't want.
Not even my friends want to play anymore because of how unfair the game became. So yeah I'm stuck alone in Solo Q and everyone knows that Solo Q are the one that suffers the most every single update and don't geht any love from the Devs.
I'm just so sad how the game changed and the Devs basically only listen to High MMR people who probably spend the whole day playing this game. Low/Mid MMR people (Casual Player mostly) are not welcome here anymore and I don't know what to say anymore about that
I know this post will do nothing. Maybe the Devs read this but even if they do then it won't change anything. The Devs simply don't care about the most part of the playerbase.
Yeah well... It's good to finally let all this out and maybe other Low/MId MMR players can relate to that.

Sounds like you are just climbing. Camping are tunneling are tactics. The better you are, the more you'll see of them. Such is the law of the Mmrntity.

How should I climb in the MMR when I die very game? I thought the MMR only increases if you are escape wich...yeah not happens that often. Didn't escape this week at all. So I think you are wrong.
And yeah no. Camping/Tunneling are basically the definition of "Ungh I don't wanna learn to play the game normally as killer so I just play as scummy as I can" Even a lot of Content Creators already proofed that you don't need to tunnel/camp to get kills.
The only time I'm fine with camping/tunneling is when there are only 1-2 Gens left or Endgame is on. Then I can totally understand this and I have no problem with this.
But If you tunnel/camp at 5 Gens then you just bad and want easy wins at the cost of 4 other people wich is... yeah well it says a lot about people.

Yeah, highly skilled players with many thousands of hours may be able to consistently win in the open queue with low-tier killers (not that a few trials they display convinces me about that, but I'm not their target audience). But you are talking about mid-mmr. People tunnel and camp there.

The devs definitely do not listen to high MMR players, they just said Trapper is perfectly fine when pretty much every player who is good at the game has been saying he's the absolute worst killer and needs big changes for years now. Among other examples (MFT, Nurse, ect. not being touched).
High MMR is still very difficult for killers that aren't Nurse Blight Spirit and debatably a select few others.
The game is more or less balanced at a mid to mid-low level, you might just be under that. Maybe getting unlucky with teammates. Hence why the game kinda falls apart for the vast majority of the killer cast once a decent-good team of survivors gets involved.
Bad solo q teammates is not a balance problem, you can't balance for stupid. Realistically at least. That said there should be at least a ping system or something to help out.

It's not wesker chapter it's the meta shake up patch in 2022, game is trash ever since. You're wasting your time here majority of forum unironically think the game is survivor sided because they lose 1/20 games against occasional swf, tunneling/camping are brainless and op strats there's no question about it
