please killswitch garden of joy
like genuinely that map is not fun for either side. it has incredible issues that need to be addressed like a literal infinite loop along with pallets being within 5 meters of each other. there was quite literally a pallet and another pallet in a 5 meter radius of each other, its like this map is a resurrection of dbd 2017 loops. this map is not fun at all, and it makes playing killer feel absolutely miserable.
you guys did it with haddonfield when it was getting reworked, please do the same with garden of joy.

Alright the map is bad, right
But 2017 bad? Not even close.

The killswitch is only for bugs...

then remove it out of rotation like they did with haddonfield
i worded it wrong, sorry. but i meant like the godly loops. like in jungle gyms how there were pallets on both sides of the jungle gym, and then pallets right near that loop, etc.
with MFT the main building loop literally becomes an infinite, and MFT is the most popular perk for survivors right now too.

Haddonfield removed from rotation because it's actually bugged and they were working to rework on this map.
Garden of Joy has no bugs atm and there is no rework for it as well.

Sad but true.
I just can't understand how this map has not only gone to live like this but wasn't changed in 15 months! I would rather play on old Haddonfield than this monstrosity. Haddonfield at least took the skill to use it right. Garden of Misery doesn't even have that. Instead it offers some of the best camping spots in the entire game. Truly riveting for both sides.

Do you understand what a BUG is?
It is something that is not intented by the developers. Balance cannot be bugged.
Skull Merchant is not bugged, she just has horrible implemenatation.
Garden of Joy is not bugged, it just has bad implementation.
The locker glitch was a bug.
Also, with MFT it does not become an infinite. It just takes 5-10 minutes to catch someone as an m1 killer...
So no, it will not be killswitched.

BHVR is making a lot questionable decisions.

Are you sure? Because I have lost chase with 4.4 m/s killers there. Even without MFT. So I'm not sure that it shuts down after any amount of time.
If it does take 5-10 minutes to catch a survivor, then it is basically just as strong as a real infinite. Because at that point, the killer has to leave anyway and the survivor can use it until the game ends.

then don’t kill switch it if it doesn’t have any bugs, boom. kill switch wasn’t the right word to say, my bad on that part. but it should still be taken out of rotation. they need to rework the map, take it out of rotation so nobody has to play it until they decide to rework it completely. it’s literally a win-win because it’s by far the most toxic map for both sides to even play on. there’s absolutely no point of it staying in rotation in its current state, so just take it out of rotation and rework it.

Killswitching a map is removing it from rotation. The devs are not going to killswitch Garden of Joy, because it's working as intended.
Because it takes time to rework a map and it might not be higher priority than content and changes they are already working on. Not only do they need to redesign the tiles and how they fit together, but also remodel and retexture everything they end up changing.

It was definitely on the list of priorities when it was released, so the fact they didn't change it back then can't really be excused. After that, they have seen the tons of negative feedback to this map. They reworked Shelter Woods and the Red Forest maps instead. Kind of makes me question how they make these decisions.
The Shelter Woods rework I'm fine with but Red Forest somehow became worse than before. So they still don't know how to create balanced maps. The last 2 additions are mostly alright but there is the possibility of RNG spawning some ridiculously overpowered setups. Like 3 windows all lining up and connecting to a main tile surrounded by more filler pallets.

Being on a list of things to rework does not mean it's something the devs are currently actively working on. Look at Twins who has been on a list for a couple years now.
Not to mention priorities can change over time. Look at Freddy. Freddy's rework is being delayed for Skull Merchant.
Shelter Woods was attached to the chapter release of Skull Merchant. It was part of that chapter.
Red Forest was one of the few realms not yet updated as part of the realm updates started a couple years ago. The last realm remaining is swamp. The realm updates were not necessarily balance updates and were focused more on graphical updates.
Garden of Joy is a newish map that needs some changes and it simply just doesn't have higher priority than other stuff the devs have already begun working. Remember, the devs told us it takes about a 1 year to develop a chapter. Things that are coming out now, started development at least a year ago.

It carries soloQ that's why I think it exist. This is only map where soloQ is somewhat playable. I would remove map offerings if you play more than 2 man swf. Because swf should not be able to play on it they make it unbalanced.
