Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

So many characters and perks to unlock, and so little time

I love getting new characters in this game, for survivors and killers. Love getting new perke. But does any one else get a little overwhelmed by how much bloodpoints are actually needed to get everyone to at least P3?

I have over 1k hours on PC and my highest prestige is on Jill I think and she's a p6. That's because I literally spread out my bloodpoints on every character with the goal to get everyone at P3 so all perks are unlocked for everyone at tier 3. It's exhausting. I do mental gymnastics in my head because I want to go for a p100 for my 3 main characters but I also want to unlock all perks.

The grind has improved a Ton over the past several years but man I could play for several hours and still haven't hit 1M bloodpoints.

With how many characters are now in the game I wish they'd rework the points to where we just get more per match.

I usually play the role that's needed to get the bonus BP points and swap when the multiplier swaps and yeah I do tombs religiously and yeah that definitely helps.

But man the amount of points per match. Especially as survivor. You get more as killer but if we could average 50k instead of what is it 36k? That would boost it.

I struggle with this so much you have to play so much if you're a survivor main it can be hard as you can be face camped out by a Bubba at the moment. Do you have Amazon Prime if you do and you haven't already claim the 400k Bloodpoints every month it makes it a bit easier.

the key is to play whatever has the bonus going on if you want points. Also killer in general will net you more points as it's easier to score on them than it is on survivors.

I changed platforms fully at the start of the year so had alot to get again. I put my bloodpoints into P1ing survivors, starting with my favourite perks, and I used my iri shards to get killer perks from the Shrine of Secrets. This made the most sense to me as I only play a few killers, and not often at that, so I'd prefer to not have to put bloodpoints into the ones I don't use. I still have some perks to go but I have my favourites plus more so it worked out well.

Imo, the bloodpoints are fine right now, takes about 600k to prestige, if you bring escape cakes / survivor pudding/ cakes or party streamers you'll be making roughly 60k per match (or more if you have the incentive + bonuses from other offerings)

I've made it to p20 on xeno while playing roughly 2-3 hours a day sometimes less.

On survivor there's alot of characters you can outright ignore because their perks aren't interesting in the slightest, so you can just P1 characters like gabriel, meg and kate denson to get some of the strongest perks in the game then dedicate the rest to your favorite character.

Once the 13th hits you can use your bp bonus to tackle other survivors to unlock their niche perks if you so desire.

Yeah I feel that. I started this game on ps4 back on 2017 and played console until 2021 and started over on PC. Had to start completely over. Been grinding since.

I almost have them all at p1. My top 3 survivors are Jill, Rebecca, and Meg. I used to main Cheryl on console.

But man, to start over after over 3 years was heartbreaking but once I swapped to PC I never looked back. Soon much better on mouse and keyboard. At least for killer anyway

It used to be way worse to be honest.

Oh I remember lol. It's definitely better. Cheaper on the web now, and the auto option is a lifesaver.

I always hated that feeling once I capped my points at 1M.. I was like.. great... now it's time to click for 10 minutes straight spending them all.

Whenever a new survivor is announced I will hoard my BPs until they are released. Then I will get them up to P3 and quickly as possible, thus unlocking the purple perk for my entire group of survivors. I tend to level up in increments of three. Right now all my survivors are at least P6 and the majority are P9. I do agree that it is a drag...
