Give Props
Do many of you use it? I wish people could get notified and from who when you give props. I have played with some really fun Killers and Survivors who do exceptionally well in game that they definitely deserve some praise. I also think that every player should be able to give every player props if they wanted instead of just one person.
Like today, I was playing as the Wraith and I played against some super soldier Kate. She predicted 100% every time I did or didn’t respect a pallet. There was no mind gaming her. She ran me around the whole map, it was crazy. I know for some this is incredibly frustrating but I was so out of my league that I couldn’t help but be impressed.
Anyways how do you all feel about the props system?

I honestly use it a lot, even if I'm not entirely sure it actually does something.
I agree that it should give a notification to the person you gave the props, cause this way it feels really underwhelming.

At least make it give some BP as well. Maybe a minimum of 5k so it can't be used as BM?
I would see people giving 1 bp to troll.

I'll use it for solid teammates and fun/memeing survivors and killers.
Is it confirmed to not actually do anything?

😂😂😂
That’s totally going to be me.

I use it sometimes but I'm not sure it does anything.
Would be cool, if you could earn shards by getting the thumbs up.

For those wondering, BHVR confirmed giving props has no effect, but apparently they do track it in case they want to make it do something in the future.

That's just sad. Appreciate the info though.

Who in the Entity's bright blue bunghole gave any Wraith that much?!?!

I completely forget that it exists

It's a button that does literally nothing, just like the "Did You Have Fun?" prompt. Either make it do something or remove it. Preferably make it do something, maybe then people would feel motivated to be at least slightly nicer to other players.

i use this feature a lot, and on my ps4 i can give more than one person a thumbs up, but i really wish you could see if people gave you props and stuff lol. like imagine going against a really good survivor or killer (like in your kate story above) and when you get out of the match they message you like "thanks for the props! it was fun playing you too!" it just leaves out a lot of player to player connection for some reason and it would be cool to be able to see your own props lol

Occasionally. I just wish that it and the "Did you have fun" option did something. Placebo effect can only go so far.

The 'Did You Have Fun' prompt definitely works. It reminds me that I had fun, even if the trial didn't end how I wanted it to.
I always give it a 5.

Playing killer I don't think I've given a trial above a 3 since the MFT/WoO meta started. Most days it's a 2 or less since MMR is borked and I keep winding up with sweaty high-MMR/high-P SWFs even on killers I rarely play.
On survivor side I gave a 4 recently, and that was for a match with an AFK killer so I was able to actually finish gens and do side stuff like totems/chests, PLUS escape. It would've been a 5 but I had to deduct one point to make it 4 when I realized that it took an AFK killer to have a solo trial where it felt like something got accomplished. Most solo queue runs are 3 tops.

I always forget it exists
same with the “did you have fun” thing
